What version of autogpt is best locally at moment iv tried loads and keep hitting issues, the main issue has been dependabcies not installing but I now worked out to troubleshoot most issues, it's just when I try to get it to do anything I can't seem to complete very much, there are couple online ones that have ability to do more but seem to stop it from doing a complete task.
confused, when I open my terminal and paste anything I get errors. I've downloaded , python, auto gpt and those 2 things as mentioned earlier. I'm stuck and have zero idea about this, please help
Hey Brian, I was having some trouble setting this up to so I found a tool called Godmode that does the same thing pretty much but its for people that don't know how to code. You do still have to purchase the plan on Open Ai for the ApI keys but it works pretty good from what i can tell so far. Just wanted to share- no Im not selling anything and no Im not an affilate with them or anything like that- just know its frustrating trying to figure this stuff out so Im trying to help. Hope it helps!
Funny how every one in every video keeps saying you need VSCode, Docker and Python 3.10+ It literally says pick one. And you can test it yourself, you can run it autonomously in each environment. It doesn't run in all three at the same time.

Hi Tim. Any idea if auto GPT can be set up for a windows desktop? It would be great for my social posting among other things.
Even an auto gpt that works in specific applications
AgentGPT
you are a freaking genius
Far from it! Glad I could help though.
thank you, the docker install was my issue for autogpt not running.
Use the terminal built in to VS code
Brilliant Tim. Thank you very much.
Of course!
