We don't have case lot sales here in central Ohio but do have the Kroger eggs for $1.99 for 18 count limit 5. Would be awesome to have the case lot sales.
You saved me on stick butter. I waited until $2.99 4 sticks bought 5 boxes, then again $2.98 this time I bought 15 boxes. $4.99 is the reg. price locally. I know you said wait and in Nov. or around that baking time and you were correct it goes on sale. Yearly now I will buy 22 boxes of 4 sticks per box on sale, this is what I use yearly, and I will put in the deep freezer. You saved me tons $$$ just on butter alone-thank you
I haven't seen butter for that price in well over a year -- the last time was at Aldi and even they haven't been that low. :( When I did see it, I bought 12 (they had a limit of 6 - I just went back twice) and froze it. I'm still going through it. I'm hoping with the holidays coming up it's going to start going down.
I keep butter in my deep freeze year round. I don't do anything special. I leave it in original packaging. Keeps beautifully for at least a year. @@kimberlylovestotravel
The chicken ramen makes a delicious oriental salad when added with coleslaw, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and I have added chicken or cubed ham that was leftover in my fridge. You make a sweet dressing for it, adding the Ramen flavoring to it.. Precook the noodles for 2 minutes and cool immediately, drain well. A family favorite!
Fred Meyer here in WA has Tyson chicken legs, thighs or split breasts for 89 cents a pound, grapes for 99 cents a pound and medium avocados for 88 cents each. Love the grocery hauls, thanks for sharing😊
Thanks for reminding me about Ridley's case lot sale. I ended up with an extra bonus when I found a ten pound box of bacon. It was the only one sitting in the cooler so I grabbed it and talked to the butcher and she said they only get it in for special sales like this. I asked if they had more of it but she didn't know and said to check back tomorrow (today). I took my husband to the chiropractor today so we went over to check and sure enough they had more so I got two more boxes. They were only I think 16.70 per box. That is a heck of a lot of difference in price. It isn't perfect bacon but it tastes good. I got the first box repackaged into one pound bags and will work the next one tomorrow but leave the other one frozen in the box.
I live about 3 hrs north of Phoenix Arizona. I get case lot sales a couples of times a year at my Smiths(Kroger). This week though they have some awesome stoore coupon buys. I can buy 5 of each ittem. Kroger Brand Shredded or Chunk Cheese $4.99 for 32 oz. $2.50 a pound which is my new stock up price .99 cents for 4 lbs of sugar, so that makes it $5.00 for 20 lbs $1.49 for Pearl Miĺling Company Complete Pancake mix .49 cents for Kroger Hotdog or Hamburger buns Needless to say I'm getting 5 of each.
I’m in western Washington and I’ve never seen a case sale at our stores. I’ll keep an eye out and ask to see if these are available. What a fantastic deal!
I live in Spokane, WA. At my Fred Meyer (Kroger) I was able to buy 4lbs of sugar for .99 cents! I was able to buy 5 bags. I was also able to buy a 5lb bag of flour for.99 cents. 5 bags was the limit. Added it to my pantry. I love your grocery haul videos.
As a military mom , we had case lot/ sidewalk sales. In the Intermountain west and mid-west they are called bulk / case lot food sales. Regional stores compete with the big guys by offering store brand sales. If you’ve heard of Associated Foods they are big suppliers. Winco and Kroger brand stores also, but to a lesser degree. If you’re new to an area you might ask staff what time of year they do their bigger sales. ( Yes, I’m nerdy and googled it🤦🏻♀️😅)
I enjoy your stock up hauls as it reminds me of things I could stock up on too that maybe I haven't thought of... even though many of the things you buy in the USA we can't buy here or are different here. It's still very helpful for me. We bought chicken breasts this week at Drakes for $8.90kg when it's normally $12+ kg at Coles where we usually shop. Also bought sausages at Drakes for $5.67kg & normally $6.11kg at Coles. We don't get big discounts on meat usually here. Basmati rice was half price for 5kg bag, but it's often half price. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Hmm.. I will have to see if they have case lot sales here in Kansas... I love watching grocery haul videos, it kinda helps me to know what prices I should pay or not pay... I hope you continue to do them.
Yes I would love more grocery haul videos. I’m assuming you do not mind different tastes of different products? Any videos about where to shop meat and vegetables if you do not have a garden?
Thanks for the info on case lots. We Don't have case lots here in pa that I've found YET, but i will be checking into them now. However, we have several dent and ding stores. Also Amish stores that sell dent and ding stuff. Just need to stock up when you can and with whatever is available at that time. One time it might be canned corn. Next time it could be something different. .. all adds up in the end.
Winco, will have case sale in September, but the last 4 years they stopped with case sales, bummer. I can my own Sauce, I control the sugar and salt, I stopped with the Top Ramen and Chef Boyradee... I shop at Winco, and Grocery Outlet are my two stores I shop at 😊❤
Yes for the show and tell on your hauls from the grocery. We live in a small city in the middle of nowhere in NW AZ in the desert. There are 3 brands of supermarket here and also there's a Walmart. On sale today at Smiths (Kroger owned store) 9-25-24: Oscar Meyer lunch meat Sliced deli Turkey and same Ham each were $3.99 per pack. Grapes 89 cents lb. and Apples 99 cents lb. and potatoes 5 lb. 99 cents for the sack. Not storage items but ones we use a lot.
Definitely love your grocery haul videos. The things that would work for my home (single senior) would be one case of spaghetti sauce, 1 case of olives (I put them through the food processor as I don't care for them whole to use in my Mexican recipes), and certainly once case of the chicken, even though I don't normally use breast meat. The sugars and ramen, not so much.
Unfortunately in my area of the world we dont get good deals like that. Things go on sale but nothing that good. I always try to find the best deal possible though. I love the grocery haul videos. Helps me remember what I may have missed or what to possibly look for that I may not have thought of.
I really appreciate your saving tips and all you share. I was recently diagnosed as type two diabetic so am looking for recipes with low sugar emphasis. Thanks.
For everyone complaining that they don't have case lot sales, IT DOESN'T MATTER. You can make your own case lot sale by just buying a dozen (or a few dozen if you'll use it) of shelf stable items when they're at their best prices. (E.g. when sugar goes on sale during the holidays or when ketchup/mustard is cheap for Memorial Day) It's that simple.
Fred Meyer in Oregon has 89 cents a lb for bone in chicken and 99 cents for large jar he jars of pasta sauce . With 3 boys I stocked up . I also can usually stock up on ground beef for well under 3$ a lb. Oregon is a very high priced state but we still have some great deals !!

I’m in Michigan and haven’t seen one. I’m not saying they don’t happen, but in my years of adulting, I haven’t come across one. Nor have I heard of them from any friends or family.

Great job Tawra! We dont have the case sales here in Wisconsin, but we can find most of these prices although not at the same time. Just got to keep an eye out and stock up when they have the sales.
I like to do some small stockpiling for when my budget is tight from unexpected repairs/expenses. I do have an emergency fund, but I try not to use unless I have no choice. Emergences may come again before you get the fund built back up.
I don’t think we have anything but Walmart, King Soopers or Safeway and high end haute taute stores, I hope I can find some of these great buys, yes please do more of these.👍
Our local store had their 90th anniversary. Some of the stuff I got was Canned veggies 30 cents a can (3 for 90 cents) English muffins 90 cents Chef boyardee 90 cents Chicken nuggets 3.90 a bag A hot dog, a bag of chips and a pop for 90 cents Gallon milk 1.90 Eggs 1.90 a dozen
Just found you on here, but I love buying by the case instead of individually. I’m older now and don’t need a lot, but when I was a young single mom I lived around several grocery stores each 1 block from my apartment. I perused all the grocery adds for which stores had what items on sale. Back then I also used lots of coupons (which I rarely find anymore) to stretch my dollars. My first month in my apartment I bought a 3 month supply of staple items and canned goods. Second month I stocked up a 3 month supply on freezer items like meats. I managed to get a system going that I never ran out of anything. Yes we were vegetarian for the first month, but with toddlers no one cared. Afterwards we had plenty of everything. The third month was seeing if I was low on anything and also what I called my free month where we could try new things we normally wouldn’t buy. Then the whole system started over and I continued this type of shopping until I moved to a new state. Everyone in my apartment complex knew that if they ran out of anything, the could come knock on my door and I’d have extra to share. Thank you for sharing your shopping savings with everyone! It is such good advice and a great plan for staying stocked up on the items you regularly use! Nice to see younger folks learning frugality and passing the knowledge on to others! (I say younger because I have grandchildren the age of your boys. 😁)
Anyone know of a store in the Springfield MO area that does case lot sales? I got a great deal on 24 cans 14.5 ounce size diced tomatoes at a close out store for $4.99. That’s 20 cents a can. They are a year out of date, but that doesn’t bother me. Used a can in my chili today.
@@icecreamladydriver1606 1/2 to 1 lb browned hamburger, 1 can chili beans, some diced onion, can of diced tomatoes, chili seasoning to your taste, I cook in small crockpot but you can cook on stovetop too.

No Radleys where I live. I haven’t seen a case sale in years. I do try to catch sales as often as possible.
Do you have an Aldi in your area? Would it be cheaper than Walmart?
Chocolate chips 72 ounces 14.49 at Bjs, baking soda 10.99 for 13 pounds, celery 1.39 , NH
Yes, more grocery hauls please.
Do you have any tips on food stockpile in a 700 square foot home? It is our first home.
Under your bed, under furniture, create “tables “ with boxes of food and cover with tablecloth.
Aloha sister! Oh do I wish we had those stores that give us desks like that ☝️☝️☝️😢 great haul!
I love the haul videos. The main store here has so many limits and they track it through the store card. 😩
I love grocery haul videos!
Would love to see more grocery haul videos!
Can you please do a video on Bible again.
...and on another point, I love your hair! 😊
Oh thank you!
I luv the grocery hauls!!💕
Great bargains there!
I haven't heard of that store before
Yes Please ! Love all your food hauls.
Yes, absolutely love the grocery halls!
Do they have case sales at Walmart? Not sure how you find case sales.
Sounds wonderful. What is your recipe?
@@icecreamladydriver1606 1/2 to 1 lb browned hamburger, 1 can chili beans, some diced onion, can of diced tomatoes, chili seasoning to your taste, I cook in small crockpot but you can cook on stovetop too.
