Yes, sister Shelley, yesterday’s lesson (Sunday’s) message, to Pray Without Ceasing, reminded me to Practice The Presence of God. I remember reading that book. I’ve encouraged others to read it. Then practice it.
I’ve watched the entire lesson in one sitting this week, because studying it daily has been challenging! I haven’t been able to comfortably follow the themes of each day, mainly because we seem to be repeating each text every 2 or 3 paragraphs each day. I notice that on Wednesday’s lesson, we return to the 7 sons of Sceva. We’ve already covered this incident but now we are revisiting it and discussing it further. I don’t necessarily have a problem with that, per se, but I think that I learn things better in a linear manner. Jumping back and forth is disruptive for me. I have discovered that I absorb more by doing a line upon line study - an exposition - of the text. I found that format (as used in Salvation in Symbols & Signs), suits me better. I observed that each of you took the top Title for the day, used the relevant Ephesians text and led the lesson from that point of view. No confusion and no doubling back. It made the lesson easier to comprehend. For those of us unfamiliar with Ephesians, this was an easier way to understand it. We’re in lesson 3, yet still in chapter 1 and I can honestly say (hand on heart), “I don’t get it!” 😏

Have you really listen to or study The Book Of Revelations? The devil attends church devoutly so he can work within the church. There will be a falling away of those who claims to do the work of God. Instead of focusing on what the devil is doing in the church, you need to hold fast and look up so you can withstand the devil and his servants. Pray that God remove them.
