Hi, Jan! Congratulations! We are in the same batch (2019 Fall). I am also a MEXT University recommended scholar in HU. Ganbatte on your Japan journey. Enjoy!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, ang informative nito, you're super duper cool cause you're part of the MEXT scholarship, that's super amazing, lodi. Pero hindi po talaga libre ung pagkuha ng application form? ;-; Ano po ang major mo? Is it related to programming po? Kasi I'm really worried kung meron po sila para sa Software Development
Thanks a lot ! Such an amazing video ☺️ just making sure I got this right : you first applied for IGP A then they recommended you to the MEXT scholarships ?
Hi everyone! In this video I talked about the application procedure of Tokyo Institute of Technology’s International Graduate Program (IGP) A and university-recommendation MEXT Scholarship. Thank you for watching! LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! Want to know more or have questions? Comment down below
Hi! Actually, I just shared a dorm tour video. Check out my channel for the video: ruclips.net/channel/UCRNpa4QyVGKYAgUzxOi2NLwvideos Will do one vlog about expenses soon, just very busy these days. Feel free to check my other videos while waiting :)
Thanks, bro :) For IGP-A? The earlier the better but until September/October is fine since the deadline is usually November or December. Good luck! Don't forget to subscribe!
Francis Rey Cortes Hi! Yes, I had to apply to the school first. After only being accepted that they recommended me for scholarship. And yes I paid the 30,000JPY fee but it got refunded :)
Hi it depends on the allocation for each program. Sometimes they are posted on the school's website. For example, Tokyo Tech has around 4-8 slots per IGP -A Program as shown here: www.titech.ac.jp/english/graduate_school/international/graduate_program_a/pdf/The%20allocation%20of%20MEXT%20Scholarships%20for%20International%20Graduate%20Program%20%28A%29%20Commencing%20in%20September%202020.pdf Would appreciate it if you can subscribe to this channel. Thanks :)
Sackdavong MANGKHASEUM Tokyo Tech also has direct PhD. Look for IGP - C. Details here www.titech.ac.jp/english/graduate_school/international/graduate_program_c/
hi. i want to ask if you have an idea about this, if you have bachelor's degree in your country, is it okay if you will apply for another bachelor's degree through MEXT? or will it lessen the chances of passing the scholarship? thank you.
Thanks for such informative video. I had a question basically I am applying for same scholarship and emailed a professor related to my area of interest but didn't get the reply (It had been two weeks approximately) What should I do further should I wait for the reply or should I start to look for another professor?
Hi, I have a question. So, a am applying for MEXT 2021 and I was nominated as a candidate by Tokyo Tech. Does that mean that I can relax or should I look for other variants in my country in case of failing to receive MEXT scholarship?
What if you got accepted in the university but didn’t get a MEXT scholarship? And if by chance that you are unable to pay the tuition fees due to financial constraints, is it okay to reject the acceptance? Will get blacklisted from the university?

When I applied (i.e. submitted the documents and forms), I wasn't working. When I did the interview, I'm 1 month into my only work back then. :) I don't think it is necessary :)
@@JAHokson I am also from the Philippines. is it okay to ask what certifcates, awards, or gpa you had when you were applying? also did you submit IELTS?
I'll wait for the embassy recommendation :) I'm really looking forward for this MEXT Scholarship.
Good luck! :)

How about the JPY 30,000 Application fee? Did you enroll first in the university for university recommendation?

May I know what the expected CGPA by Tokyo Tech is for IGP-A.
At least around 85% (base: 50%), if you want to be considered for scholarship. :)
And when i apply for a MEXT scholarship do i apply before or after i get accepted
Is this scholarship applicable for PhD students?

If u get MEXT scholarship can u still study all the course in english??
yes, but please check the curriculum of the program you're going to apply to. Some may require you to learn japanese.
I am looking forward to apply for the scholarship. But may I ask, can I work in Japan after?
Yes, you can. :)
After the scholarship, would it be possible to work in Japan right away?
Yes, it is! We have some friends who did :)
Do IGP students take entrance exam before being accepted?
In university level, no, they don't. But sometimes, supervisors asks applicants to take an exam or technical interview from them. Good luck!

Check your embassy's website. Usually, if you are over a certain age you can't apply for undergrad scholarship.
