While going through the airport, tsa asked me if I knew the adults I was with, I glanced at them then glanced back at the TSA agent and said “nope, I met them outside and I don’t know where my mom is” Yea my joke went over about as well as this guys joke. I was the only one who found it amusing, I still do. That was hilarious, the looks on everyone’s face was priceless.

Every one of these customs shows from anywhere in the world ALWAYS include the infuriating Asians declaring nothing, getting caught with bags FULL of contraband, pretending they don't speak English etc... it's always the same and they never get in trouble. This couple ended up just paying the normal duty and got a little $160 fine. It's maddening.

These fines are a joke. Sure they toss everything if they get caught, but if they don't get caught then they get away with quite a haul. If they're caught then its a small fine relative to the damage done if they bring it into the country.

I drive a truck and cross the border all the time. Have done it so many times one of the female border officers picked me up and we dated for a good while . The hardest longest time I had crossing the border was when hauling flowers in those tiny plastic pots people buy to put in the garden . That took a very long time because they were worried about some bug or something being in the soil. At least they were nice about it and put the racks of plants back in the truck for me . Some places are awful and will rip a car or truck apart and then leave it for the driver to deal with . Never had it happen but heard about it many times. Big rigs or passenger cars same deal .
I wonder if the Chinese people even understood what they were saying NO to . The man sure understood when told about the fine but the rest of the time I think they would have said No to anything

I had the flight bqck to back and on the first time i bought an over the counter allergy medication FROM SYDNEY! the next week i arrive that medication is confiscated under the excuze of: cant bring this into australia!! Um! I bought it from an australian pharmacy; in that very same city 😂! Oh well glad i dont need to deal with that any more!
