WOW...that was masterful...I'm not usually able to sit and watch an entire sitar performance, but this surbahar seduced me from the first few notes and I did not break my gaze until 19:31 later! I am glad I found this performance. Wow. Fantastic playing, you know it is something different when it takes you somewhere. I'm sure this is known already I just also wanted to say it. The sympathetic strings ring just when they should, the plucking also. everything in the music feels guided by something larger, if one can say. Im sure it takes years of practice to play like this.
