- Hi!! This video is the result of a poll where I asked the next video you guys would like to see. Hidden Gems was the most voted, but immersion was right behind it and so, I thought I'd combine these two - and this is the result :D This is a 20k special for you guys, I'm ever so grateful for having you following my channel and watching the old videos, makes me so happy every day to see Skyrim community and maybe a budding BCG community thrive! 💚

When I started out my first test run of it. My dad was weilyn. and because I have always killed weilyn as soon As I enter markarth. I ended up burning him into a kebab >_
definitely the best skyrim modding youtube channel cause you always clearly spend time looking for genuinely interesting mods to share instead of just whatever's on the hot mods tab that everyone is gonna see anyways. So much of my mod list comes from this channel

I've had nordic jarl longhouses in my load order for a bit now and they're fantastic...they also work really well with Northern Vanilla Farmhouses, which uses COTN assets to give the farmhouses a fresh vanilla-plus appearance

Good lord, this game looks good with an ENB! I wish I had a card powerful enough to run one, but even without it, a few visual mods turn Skyrim into a spectacularly gorgeous world.
I'm tempted to try that Mom & Dad mod. What a cool idea!
It's true - an ENB really makes everything better, but it can definitely look great without one, as well! :)
I love your mod videos everyone else's are just recaps of what the top downloads on nexus were for the week. These are legitimate hidden gems. So much love and care and attention to detail are put into these videos, thank you for your work!
Hey, I'm so happy to hear that you thought these are really hidden gems! :D It's such a fine line as to what a hidden gem truly is, and what amount of downloads make them not hidden anymore. I was struggling with that as I don't want to create such a video with mods everyone knows about already, was stressing out a little bit xD so thank you for the kind words!

Whoo congrats on reaching 20K! Spelltome reminds me of an old mod I was tempted to get for my spellcaster playthrough - Spell Research. I'm still in the process of figuring out why I'm having some compatibility issues but I'm hopeful things will work out (or I'll just. give up on having Lux because it and Northern roads are fighting over my bridges) and when they do, I'm probably going to get Spelltome. As well as the frogs and toads! The Ghosts of the Deathbells also looks awesome. I have bad memory so I absolutely would forget that I had it installed and probably lose a few months' worth of life when it popped up lol

Another good one is by the same guy as the old people mods, its called Farts of Skyrim. Like the name suggests it adds immersive farting to skyrim.

This was the first video I've seen of yours (it appeared on the front page) and one thing I like about your videos is how you show (or your editor, whoever) whether the mod is an esp or esl. My only criticism is the depth effect you have on the text. It's a bit awkward seeing the text cut off since it's behind the objects in footage sometimes. But thanks for these mods! You don't see to many characters with heterochromia iridum on youtube

I do edit everything myself - that was actually a suggestion from viewers to include the plugin type, and I agreed it would be very useful! :D And thanks for the feedback as well :) (and heterochromia is just the coolest looking feature that I wish I had myself too, so gotta have it on my character xD)

4:30 honestly mods like these are some of my favorite and I think it's why I love Oblivion so much. Characters aren't always just set to be where they are, they go places and have lives outside of their purpose.

That "Shame of Skyrim" mod in there is my personal favorite from this video (along with the one that adds frogs). I like this kind of subtle world building. It makes me feel just a tiny hint of guilt after I break some random Thalmor soldier's neck.
For real, they do have an impact! :D

If I had the Creation Kit installed (well, I'd have to have Skyrim installed too), I'd focus almost exclusively on making NPC dialogue expansions using xVASynth. Spliced dialogue can sometimes show the seams and shortcomings of having to write your way around a limited selection of lines, and I think one mod that doesn't pull this one off well is an alternate ending to the House of Horrors mod. Reused dialogue blocks become apparent very quickly, as well as not being all that tonally consistent.
AI-voiced NPC dialogue can be prone to sounding unnatural, robotic or obviously generated. But if you have fancy headphones, a really good ear, reliable software--and like doing puzzles...you can craft some surprisingly convincing back-and-forth
