Already seen it
I have an awesome piece that you can restore for me. Follow me on Instagram @ itzdamagicalman, and I’ll send you the piece.
Now paint it to look like the Terminator!
😊
Sometimes I have to remember he's sandblasting the part and not spray painting it silver.
I thought he was using a laser to get the rust off.
@@sharonmott2888 I couldnt even see the sand.
So true lol
😂😂😂
@infamoussoapconsumer3870 you can see on his gloves
I personally feel like it could've done without the paint, just some form of protection from rust.
Totally agree. You don't see cast iron stuff like this anymore and to show off that it's made of iron is part of the art experience. Now it looks like its plastic.
Said the same thing. This dude loves shiny paint
How about a chrome plating on here?
Loved it as it was for sure!!!
That's what I was hoping for.
I thought it looked great just wirebrushed without the paint
Like everyone else such as myself
Why do u have diesel patches as ur pfp 😂
Yeah I agree. He should of just left the wire brush look and just paint the eye
Same
Fr
I love this, but you made the cast iron look so pretty afterwards that the Skeleton would also have looked amazing with a clear coat haha!
4:14 Poor guy. He's dead and still has to go to the dentist...
Looks like some serious special treatment to me
lenora nelson skeleton: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
😂
Paging Dr. Tysy!
i was thinking the same thing haha
Personally id prefer to keep the rust and just fix the mechanism. The aesthetic felt like pirate treasure or something.
I WAS LITERALLY JUST THINKING THIS
Well it is a restoration
Put a rust like paint
I’d rather not have rust on there. Yeah, sure, it looks good, but I don’t think rust is very good for humans, like if you get a cut on that thing, there are chances of you getting some sorta infection, and that’s not good.
One eyed willy bank .
Should’ve skipped out on the painting my dude. The rough, unpainted look was very fitting... now it looks like plastic.
agreed, i feel like old stuff should look like its original form not a new form. im pretty sure it wouldn't have shiny plastic like paint on it in the original i feel like it would've just been cast iron
@Purified Water II there's ways to stop rust without painting it.
Or porcelain
I think Powerd Coating would of been better imho.
"Don't worry, it's not real."
Yeah, I have solid rusted iron bones too.
Mars is covered in rust
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He's so cool- except that it hurts my brain that he has eyelids... inside his skull...?
It makes the winking apparatus easier.
@@Crazypixiness I know, I know... it just bugs me.
I probably would have painted the "Eyelids" in matte black, so they are not so obvious
I'm more concerned because he even has eyelids...clever idea but all the test of his skin is gone ya know? 😂
I wish you hadn't said that
somehow this one scares me less than the clown coin bank Rescue & Restore did a few days ago
I agree
Why are all the restore youtubers I watch are fixing piggy banks
@@haileylong7652 the age-old question...
I said that too! I wonder if it’s the same manufacturer
what's the deal with people being scared of clowns ???????
I really liked this without being touched up.. the rusty look was perfect with the skeleton, it made it look like some ancient artifact.. either way you did a fantastic job as usual
He: *starts sandblasting the skull*
My head: *The Terminator theme*
Why not just paint the whole thing inside and out? I’d recommend a thin wash of black paint over the bones to add dimension.
Yep, a black wash would really bring out the details. And I agree about painting inside as well, maybe with a dark gray to give more shadow and depth. But still, this is a really cool bank and a good restoration job!
I do believe that he tries to restore it to the way it was new
Yeah he restores not customizes these antiques.
"Now i arrange his hair" HAHA I CHOKED ON MY COFFEE 😂😂😂
I was thinking this must be how Uncle Fester does it.
🤣🤣
Top 10 Best Barbers in America
Had the same thing.. 😂😂 I spit out my coffee... that's even worse.. because i had to stop the video to get myself cleaning stuff..
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have one of those I found in an old refrigerator, he had a note in his hand that read, The light really does go off when the door closes
😂
Should've done eggshell. It's too shiny
For a moment during sand blasting there was some serious Terminator vibes!
Definately! Especially with the hand
Lol I just saw the video for the terminator in MK11 too!😆😅😆
Good work, but i would not have gone for a glossy finish, but a matte paint/finish.
🍪
In addition a black to fade on the holes would have added more depth but someone can always do that later if they wish. This is like a blank canvas for an artist to go wild on.
Bones need to be moist
agreed... this needed an artistic, hand painted finish... the gloss take a lot of the cool out of it, imho
My dude are you guy's brain dead? He doesn't customize antiques he restores them to there ORIGINAL looks.
"I didn't steal your money, I was just looking at it!
total lost of character, the rust looked best but the raw iron is where i would have stopped and applied a protection coat
I’d say he really has an eye for money!
And 'hand'y work. 🙂
I pickle eyes in jars
Or rather, an eyesocket for money, amirite?
Hi guys i will like to ask you to support me on Facebook 😊, let’s get to 10k and i will giveaway one off my restorations🤯😍. Thank you 😘 facebook.com/tysytube

Done!
Done!
This is lovely! I personally would have gone in with a sponge brush and added some browns and grays for detail shading on the grooves, but the solid bone color looks like something you'd buy at the store. ultimately a lovely restoration piece, keep up the amazing work!
Exactly
Tibia honest, I find these piggy banks humerus.
But it might just be my opinion in my own Skullking matter.
Well better get back to failing at falling asleep I dont want to drop dead tomorrow for my midterms.
@Loli4lyf I do enjoy some rib tickling humor not going to FIBula to you about that.
That tickled my funny bone but tibia-honest skeleton puns always do
You got a skelleton of Jokes my friend
i was actually ready to roast you for saying tibia honest
*sans* is typing...
It would be cool to paint this in glow in the dark paint. Then it would be good to find at night.
yes
Before : Scary
After : Not Scary
😉
He's be like terminator
Makes me sad tho
Before : scary 😰
After : still scary 😱
Is this comment section ok?
I've been called scary by my friends
Therapist: what is ur fear?
Me: skeleton that eat coins with the eye
Very cool restoration, but I wish the white was more of a "bone" color.
It looks like I feel this morning. I wish the hand had a cup of coffee to shove in the eye.
You and me both!😪😴😖😫☕
Lmao I hear you.
indie825 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sounds about right! Me too.
I think an oil wash would really bring the detail out of this guy. All the cracks and textures would pop!
Quite a fine dentist, you are.
Hahaha the skeleton looks like your stoned friend reaching out his hand asking for some of your chips 🤣🤣
🤣🤣
🤣🤣
I find your lack of glow in the dark paint disappointing.
I love these videos so much, but I get sad with his choice to paint some of these restorations. He does such a fantastic job in cleaning them, restoring them, and then he slathers them in garish paint that covers up the personality and all of his hard work and kills the uniqueness of the pieces 😭😭😭 Not always of course, but definitely sometimes.
Like the toys and appliances usually turn out cute and vintage looking but i was so sad to see this spooky skeleton gwt stripped of ANY of its personality :( used to look rustic and scary
I can’t agree more with you. A so nice job some how (sorry to say) spoiled at the very end
Coming back to watch it, I just started thinking: how the coins gonna stay in? They can easily slip out of the rib cage & spine 🤔
And don't forget the gun holes in its head lol ;P
Never get tired of watching you restore something with skill that makes it look so easy. 😊
I always wanted a coin bank that can't keep coins in.
That thing looks like the terminator after being Sand blasted. 😂 🤣
"Sandblasting the terminator" - sounds like another synonym for masturbating ;)
@@bioLarzen
LMAO!!
Me: Does it hurt?
Dentist: You won't feel a thing.

Now this is real restoration, unlike the others with rusted plastic
Great find and beautiful restoration. I like that you removed all the flashing from the casting. It really made Mr. Bones look so much better!
Nothing like waking up to "Cast Iron Skull" in your inbox.
So technically, this ain't just a restoration, but an improvement altogether. Love it
Wow! The details really came out after you sandblasted it. OMG I love this channel. It so relaxing to watch. I have an extremely hard time relaxing. This channel helps me a lot.
You truly are very talented. I’d love to able to do this. Is this your living?
Why did i have to scroll this far down for someone to openly appreciate what he does instead if criticizing it like they are pros at this
You know it's Spooktober when there is skeletons everywhere
Honestly, to me your channel and a few others like yours are super satisfying, entertaining and relaxing/calming to watch! Helps me relax enough to sleep sometimes!
Quiero uno.
Yo igual :(
Good to see you keep an "eye" on your money.
this skeleton dosent look old to me, is more like he was made rusty on purpose
That's probably just because it is a brand new casting, rusted for the sake of the video. It never rusts so uniformly and superficially as here.. But I just skip that part of the video and watch it as an upgrade of a standard casting.. Still nice result tho.. And cool skull / concept.
needs some detail painting around the eye and the cracks/breaks in the bones to show some definition
My cat Sassy was watching with great interest. I never know what she sees in DIY and restauration videos, but she loves them. :)
looks like me when i wake up in the morning
looks like my wife when she wakes up in the morning !

мог бы и зубы покрасить ( пару золотых) и глаз второй как-то выделить..
Это восстановление как то вообще никакое.
His new hairstyle is to die for. 🙂 Great job.
I kind of liked it when it was rusted... Looked like it had been underwater for ages!
No one:
The Dremel: *angry bee noises*
See I’m learning. I watched this one in the morning.
I wouldn't have restored this item. Perfect the way it is.
That is a very cool bank!
As much as I love your content, I’d love to see you do an “as new” restoration, as opposed to “better than new” especially for tools that should be used. No fairly-normally-priced tool manufacturer is ever going to grind off forge marks an mirror polish a wrench, for example.
There are other youtubers that do as new restorations but this guy want to be different. I say let him do it how he wants to👍
Gta 5 1hr driving ASMR I know there are other channels that do as new restorations, but I’d like to see one on here. It’s a challenge to have to work within the confines of what came out of a factory and still come out with a beautiful, albeit not mirror polished and perfect, product.
But then; opinions are like arseholes: everyone has one 🤷🏼♂️
Très très belle restauration bravo monsieur j'adore
Thank-you for fixing those awful casting marks.
I kinda like the rusty version better..you made him look too pretty lol..great job 👍
Ha ha, Awsome! It reminds me of those 1950s cartoon movies.
Excellent work as always sire! :)
Happy Halloween Ty!!!! This perfect for the occasion 👌
Wonderful! The bank is a cartoon style skeleton, so I think that the paint adds a lovely touch!
I love this guy. My only change would have been to paint the interior moving eye pieces black.
Gratified that you ground off the casting slag.
now i arrange his hair 😂
Would look cool with some weathering paint to accent all the crevasses.
Darin Moore And some ugliness for the teeth
I'm probably the hundredth person to say it, but the "Arranged his hair" joke GOT ME. Well played.
This one of my favorite projects you have done. Maybe it is the simplicity of it or the cuteness of the item itself. Thank you!
Preparation for Halloween, Ty? If so, put this on porch in your house, might be the best idea for contribution for your channel RUclips. Don't you think?
linseed oil??.....why didn't you just paint the inside?
His hair turned out beautiful. Great job!
Very good. But I think the paint of eyeball could be better.
I literally can’t even thank you enough. Thank you for restoring this
Him:now I will arrange his (hair)
Me: THAT THING AIN'T EVEN GOT HAIR
🤣true
He’s great! Such a handsome chap. And I like the white paint and what you did with the eye. It was satisfying to see him put some coins in. I’d love a money box like this.
Skeleton struggles to insert contact lens, amazing restoration!
Make a collab video with my mechanic's
ah yes 4 silent arms rubbing wire brushes on metal together
love your videos, but that rust looked sprayed on
I think that too, it's not rust from years, the skull looks not old, it's made for sandblasting.... 🙄
I love all of your restorations but this has to be one of my favs.
Parerea mea este ca se potrivea mai bine o culoare crem cu nuante de gri . GOOD JOB !!!!
I had instantly a voice in my ear, calling Dr.Tysy into the anatomy ward...
:-D
Great job!
:-D
You really made a big difference when you took off all the castings. Your details on this channel are AWESOME. This is why I love this channel:)
I think you did a good job with the paint man dont worry!
I love it!!!!! Can’t ever understand how people dislike 🤷🏼
Where did you find that it’s amazing and I love it
He bought one online, then soaked it in water and buried it for a week. Just search vintage cast iron coin bank
Alex K I know right?! It’s awesome!
This isn't just restoration. You turn these banks into "special edition" versions!
Honestly I like the care put into the painting process. Jut s bit more black around the eyes would do nicely
It was so cool, all rusty and patina'd. Except for the mechanism needed fixed, I might have liked it sealed as it was. ( I like the look of patina and/or rust.)
But what you do is terrific work in restoration. I enjoy watching your projects. I think it turned out very well.
that case, when it looked more epic at the beginning!
It's way better than new. You cleaned up the casting defects, & added detail that makes it way more impressive.
The coin collector in me really wanted to get a better look at the coin that was inside!
The raw metal really showcases the texture better than the painted version QAQ and without any color contrast the eye looks so spooky
2:18 wa! Sans blaster!
i would spend all day long just tossing money into it :D
The piggy bank is totaly cool. I can see you are already saving money for a new item to restore😁
Why is watching the rust getting sand blasted off so satisfying?
