This is lana’s slowest album, but is so monumental and delicious to hear, it’s beautiful.
Its heavenly. Cinematic and timeless. My favorite album from her
Love how dramatic and cinematic this album is...I miss this vibe from Lana, NFR and COCC is a lot more stripped back and simple, hoping she goes back to more cinematic songs

I think “honeymoon” is an underrated album, and freak, Art Deco, Salvatore & the blackest day are my favs, btw the last song is a cover of nina simon’s song like she did in UV with “the other women”

this is definitely her most demanding album, in the sense that on first listen, you need to really pay attention to the music (both lyrically and melodically) in order to fully appreciate this piece of art. nice reaction!

Honeymoon is Lana’s best album because it encompasses everything she is, considering the old noir feel, the amazing vocals and instrumentation. I can play this album from start to finish and I feel like my mind has been nurtured. Btw the last song is a cover from Nina Simone in the 40s.
Honeymoon is a huge 50s noire movie soundtrack. I adore it.
Honeymoon it's a whole vibe. She really did that. So cohesive, cinematic, beautifully produced and lyrically very interesting✨✨✨
This album it's almost a challenge for us listeners, is like she's testing if we'd still love her without the heavy production and the sick beats, and I'm damn sure we do, cause these songs are pure angelic sounds. I love that you were patient with it! 💙 and thanks for remembering the pride! ✊🏻✊🏾✊🏿

Really? For me as her new listener I love this album instantly (NFR still the fastest one). After listen to BTD I lost somewhere outta place when I heard UV. This record instantly pick me back together at her discography map. Cause I don't see it UV the way her stans praised. Now UV is growing so much for me and I think it's because of this record and NFR.
"Salvatore" and "The blackest day" are masterpieces. I also recommend an instrumental version of "The blackest day".

Lana filmed a music video for the track “Honeymoon”, and you can react to it if you want, but it was never officially released. Lana has stated: “You haven’t seen the full video for Honeymoon because I didn’t put it out yet. I don’t know if I will [put it out] because I made it myself." She didn't release the video because "Nothing really happened in it.”
The video, shot on VHS, then leaked in 2016 and it’s up on RUclips.
The blackest day is for many fans (and myself) one of her best song to this date how can that one be your least favorite I dont get it lol
Compared to the others, it’s the one I listen to the least, not saying it’s a bad song at all though.

Also, I won’t say you’re crazy if you liked Honeymoon more than Ultraviolence. Yeah, unpopular thought, but completely valid. Honeymoon is so cohesive and has a strong concept. I’ll be waiting so excited for Lust for Life. Most people don’t like this album after listening to the previous four, but I like it pretty much and I wanna see your reaction.
In addition, thank you for not cutting the video no matter the length of it. It’s so nice to hear the whole song with you.

In this era you need to react to two songs of Big Eyes film soundtrack: Big Eyes and I Can Fly. You skipped them because they were out in 2014 so before Honeymoon era, but they are AMAZING!

I am glad you enjoyed the album because many people dislike it after coming from Ultraviolence. I love the songs on it, they are really beautiful. They don’t necessarily have that “kick” like some songs on the other albums but the melodies and lyrics are gorgeous on this one!

Honeymoon the album and the track itself is a very beautiful and angelic calming album. It’s angelic art it’s soft and slow in most parts and some songs are a little bit faster like high by the beach. This album is cinematic but in a delicate way. This album is what i play when i had a hard day and i just need to light my candles and get in the bath or light my candles and lay down on my bed with everything turned off and just the candles flames’ illuminating the room and i just lay down and relax . There's an intelligent restraint in this album that I fully respect. It wasn't my favourite when I started listening to Lana but it slowly become my favourite.
Agree with you, I also prefer Honeymoon to Ultraviolence. It is such a beautiful album - you're right, there are so many layers and detail and its so thoughtfully done. The only song I don't like is 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood', my favourite is 'The Blackest Day'.
