Are you lucky enough to have a dedicated pantry in your kitchen? Do you use a cabinet to store your food in? We have a very deep pantry cabinet but because of it's depth, it's very hard to organize. I'm super excited that I was finally able to organize my pantry and for only $13! Let me know how and where you store most of the food in your kitchen. Also, don't forget to take advantage of Grove's FREE 5-piece Mrs. Meyer's spring cleaning gift set while supplies last!: influencer-tracking.grove.co/SF3jb
A Place to Nest I hate deep cabinets😂I’m like what do I do with this! And cabinets that are too high-I’m like this is ridiculous. Oh if I could build my own house🤣we have a pantry literally for food storage right in the kitchen, so we’re lucky in that aspect. I bought a mini lazy Susan for spices and looove it. Like your can system.
I know...it's like playing Jenga with food and kitchen supplies! lol lazy susan's are amazing for so many spaces! I even use them in my closet/linen closet for my lotions and perfumes.
I have large dedicated pantry in my kitchen that also has deep shelves which I hate because it is hard to organize. But it is quite a bit of space. I also used a lot of Dollar Tree products. And I am slowly converting over the closet in my spare bedroom to a long term storage food pantry. As well as trying to figure out how best to utilize my detached unfinished garage for more space for non food items.
Be sure not to store onions or garlic in the same bin as potatoes. They will accelerate spoilage of the potatoes due to the chemicals they naturally give off.
OK on the first part that you showing the storage next to the refrigerator the community you have did you can put motion sensor lights battery-operated in the back they don't cost much you sometimes can't even find some of those and Dollar Tree once you put it on every time you go in there the light turns on by itself and it shuts off automatically so you can always see what's back there
Thank you for the inspiration. I have the same type of cabinetry and I have been trying to find a way to organize it. I love dollar tree and I have a few of those soda storage containers but never thought to use them in my pantry. Thank you hunni!!
Looks so nice & organized! I've recently started working on our pantry. We have wire shelves, so it's sometimes hard to keep things organized and/or standing up. I've been using some plastic bins for smaller items & it's working well.
Thanks Lauren! Wire shelves do make it harder! Have you tried that clear liner that's meant to go on wire shelves to keep things from falling through and getting off-balance? Also, if you like the organizers I used, there's a smaller version that Dollar Tree sells that's perfect for snack bars, baby food pouches, etc.
@@aplacetonest Thanks Becky! Yeah, I've gotten some organizers at Dollar Tree & Walmart especially for some of the items you mentioned (pouches, fruit cups, granola bars, etc.). I've seen those clear liners before, so it may be time to actually get them :-)
Thank you for sharing this. I was looking for an idea to organize my can goods, and I absolutely love your idea of the soda can holders. Excellent idea!
Great tip. My storage pantry not only is deep but each shelf is very distanced in height from the next one up. I mean, I could stack seven cans on their end and 15 deep. It's driving me crazy how to make it work. This "pantry" was fine for many years as a blanket/linen closet. Any tips appreciated.
@@aplacetonest TYSM for your response. These shelves were built into this wall of the house. No idea what they were going for. I think I'm looking at adding more shelves. I was hoping for a "movable fix" and I've decided it would simply cost too much.
Thanks! I love Costco but it's so far away from my house and we always spent way more than we planned because they have such neat stuff. Plus, they stopped carrying a lot of our favorite organic products that were partly the reason that we got a membership. :(
I struggle with our pantry,we also have deep pantry..our doors are smaller but we have double doors..our last house we had huge double doors ( that I miss)
@@aplacetonest ww just built a house and we have a pantry in the kitchen. Our cabinet guy made our shelf ro pull out and that helps so much. I didn't know they even made such lol. I love them. I also have abottom cabinet that has two that pulls out.its handy for pots and pans.
Yes, my mom has pull-out shelves and they are amazing! I bought some pull-out trays for my island storage and I love them. It makes it so much easier to access everything, doesn't it?
@@aplacetonest I already looked they aren't showing up. People are selling them on like estay, eabay & such but those people are insane. They are actually selling them well over retail value, 5$ & up per piece. I don't understand how they can do that regardless if they own it or not. Now I see selling them for 1.50$ to make a profit but not above that. That should be illegal no?
Side note: love your hair & your make-up is spot on! Thank you for sharing this!! We recently organized our pantry after watching Tidying Up with Marie Kondo🤣
Thank you! They are hard to find but it's tempting to buy 30 of them. You couldn't buy "real" can organizers for that and you'll have extra ones to use in other areas of the house. Or you could always ask a friend or family member if they could use some and share them with them. :)
You should look into being able to return some of them at the store once they get delivered. I’ve never tried that, so you’ll have to contact someone or look at their return policy.
Our master bathroom has a cabinet just like this one. Tall and deep, and stuff always gets buried in the back! I put our shampoos, deodorants, hair spray, stuff like that in it. I've bought stuff at Wal-Mart not knowing I already had the same thing up in that cabinet!😩 I really need to figure out a way to organize it.😣

Very clever use of the storage boxes. I loved your use of the magazine rack!!! So clever!!! Good ideas!
Thanks so much! 😊
Finally, a great idea for deep pantries. Love it.
I'm so glad it was helpful!
This makes me happy as well you can probably use them for toilet paper in the rest room as well

If you paint the inside of your cabinets/pantries white it does make it easier to see inside the cabinets/pantries.

I know this comment is a few years old but I’ll still give my advice 🤪 line the shelves with cardboard. So helpful!

I love that you used what you had first 😍 great tips
My word I have been looking for a video to help me organize my deep pantry that I absolutely can not stand lol. Thnx for the tips 💖

Thank you for this! We have deep deep cabinet as well! Really needed this inspiration! ❤
That looks SO great!
Easy install!
Looks great . This is just what I needed to see . I have the exact same issue .

Is there any way to add more shelves in between? Are the any pre-drilled holes that make them adjustable?

U could put a battery operated light on the shelves. We have a pantry, but it's open shelves. I like to put on music or a video when I tidy it.
Great idea! Thank you!
How wide is that pantry? Love what you've done with it.
Possibly, put Dollar tree push light above deep cupboards?
Cute Ideas! Thanks for sharing! Dollar Tree is amazing!!
Thanks! I love Dollar Tree!
Looks great! Curious, why don't you shop at Costco anymore?

Lol, that's a good one. Enjoy your creation !
Why don’t you raise the back can holder with a upside down plastics container from dollar tree?
That might work as long as it wouldn't make the bins too tall to be able to easily pull a can out.
Looks great
Thank you! I still keep going back and looking at it now and then! lol

You might still be able to order them on the Dollar Tree website but you'll have to order more than you might need.

Thanks for saying that. I was a little messy and not "camera-ready" in the footage but I wanted to share real life. lol
Are those soda can holders stackable?
No, they aren’t.
Fabulous! You've inspired me! :)
I'm so glad! I love hearing that! :)
I can’t ever find those soda can organizers at my Dollar Tree 😡. I thought about ordering them online, but you have to get like 30! Looks great!

I looked at their website and it said that you can't return online orders unless they're defective. :(
A Place to Nest ty for doing that!
Absolutely love your organization videos #goals

A Place to Nest I have not thought of that! I'll definitely try that.☺
An entire double-depth pantry dedicated to just beans. I cannot relate. My family's dry goods come in packages of a variety of shapes and sizes.
But how much are those racks
Thank you! Heading to the Dollar Tree now!
I hope you can find them! *fingers crossed*
I love those containers but I can never find them. Or only find one or two. So I think I need to bite the bullet and buy the case of 24.
I'd go ahead and order them, too because you could always use them in other places.
@@aplacetonest yes exactly

Awesome job! It does remind you of a grocery store. 👍👏
Thank you! I should start asking my family if they'd like paper or plastic. lol
If that’s your hot-mess?! You need to see people’s real- bad hotmess! Unless you said hot-ness. You have make up on! Abs your hair is wrangled! Ha ha
