It’s really sad 😢if you have been here since the beginning I’m almost 30 and have been watching them since I was in high school smoking pot after I got off work I remembered being so excited every time they released a video now there almost all gone now
Michael and Bridgette only care for their views and likes. I mean there’s proof in the video here. Give us a like and we’ll show you the uncut video. It’s obvious that Doug isn’t himself, whether due to age, drugs, unstable mental heath in general but they don’t seem to have empathy. Instead, they shove a camera in his face for content. Showing the bad side of himself. Imagine being in Dougs position, having cameras on him whenever he visits and seeing his daughter being manipulated by someone like Michael. A man who can’t drive. He acts tough but will crumble when truly confronted. It’s truly sad to see. He’s still her father. Seems like Michael’s the only one who would stick up to his own father regardless of what his father did when he got angry but with Bridgette, they seem to completely disown her father. They want to seem like good people bc they gave him money but they owe it to him too in a way. He used to be in their older videos which gave them content in return. He was just a lost soul and they gave up on him, now he’s dead. RIP Doug.
I do agree Mike and Brigette are not saints but I still don’t think they were the bad guys here (for lack of better terminology). Doug’s behavior was not just towards Mike and Brigette. It seemed like in his final years he was lashing out at everyone. The Kentucky relatives he was living with kicked him out because he acted ungrateful for their hospitality and tormented their kids. Other West relatives and former friends said they cut ties with him because they didn’t like who he became. Even his BFF Debbie said she distanced herself from him bc he was mistreating her. Now, I do believe Doug was not right in the head in his final years. Others though did try to help him but sadly he wasn’t willing to help himself. I agree he needed help but you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped.

It sounds like Doug might be having dementia, I'm sorry to see that, guys. I wish you guys had a better relationship with Bridgette's Dad, my recommendation is to ignore all the bad behavior and just appreciate what time he might have left, it's not easy dealing with someone who can be overwhelming but learning to forgive and forget can bring peace into your life. I wish you all nothing but the best and I hope there is a peaceful outcome to this whole situation.
I think he migbt have dementia or personality disorder of something but for the some reason I find these videos interesting to some level like why would Doug do this. And if he does have dementia or PD then this explains everything possibly.
I definitely think that he has some sort of brain thing going on. My grandma was like this once the dementia started kicking in, and she didn’t act like the same person, but after Covid hit, she couldn’t even communicate right with us, and things got bad. Maybe he has something like what my grandma had and he is just having it kick in, and they just don’t know

I’m really starting to think that Doug has dementia. He’s exhibiting the same psychological symptoms as many of my patients I’ve taken care of. He should seek help from his doctor for real.
Mike, I gotta be honest. Doug does not look healthy, and is showing visible signs of disorientation, fatigue and confusion. Someone further down in the comments mentioned perhaps he has early onset Alzheimers, or Dementia. It might worth looking into. I'm getting really tired of people saying that Bridget should forgive her father that they should repair their relationship well here's the thing there is a difference between forgiveness and reconciliation. Everybody thinks that Bridget being estranged from her father is much more worse than what doug has done. Doug has done a lot of horrible stuff he lied about Bridget and Michael, he made up lies about angry grandpa, He wanted to take angry grandpa's place as the new AGP because he wanted his lifestyle, He went online telling people that Bridget was not pregnant that she was just overweight lying about pregnancy for views, and he did all of this because he wants money. So Bridget can forgive her father because she cannot stay angry for the rest of her life but that doesn't mean she has to reconcile with her father. Forgiving somebody and reconciliation is 2 different things. And family is not determined or defined through blood it's a bond that defines family and Bridget doesn't have a bond with her father because of dougs mouth and actions.

Hi Michael and Brigitte I don't watch your videos much. I used to watch them all the time when Angry Grandpa was still alive. However sense thin not as much. No I don't know what is going in your family in the background behind these RUclips videos nor do I really give a crap. That is your family and your business to be honest. But remember one Family is is what matters more than anything in this world. Everything else can be replaced but family can not. family can be there one day and gone the next. Family are the people that are there for you when your are sick, when you need someone to talk to and when you need your family in general. Now I am not saying things have not been said. I am sure there have been things you have said and things Doug has said that has hurt each other on each side. That is a normal thing for all family's. It does not matter what class your family falls into rich, middle class, or what not. But always remember there are ways to mend that. Now I know you have tried to mend your relationship with Doug before and it has not worked I don't put all the blame on your part of that is on Doug as well. The other thing I think is that you and Brigitte are still young. You are in there 30's I believe and I feel that as you grow up they will realize you really need your family and Doug as well. I commend you for trying. I have a suggestion of stopping talking about Doug on your channel and doing a video related to what I have said I am going to post this same comment on Dougs youtube channel as well. For people cracking on Doug for looking like he aged or looks bad... maybe hold your tongue? Because it looks like he has been given some .... bad news... health related... and his body is showing it. Personally, I think he may not have many years left, and it shook him to his core.. realizing that, he could have had an epiphany moment.. and wanted to be a liiiiittle bit more involved with grandkids. Reconcile with his family, ya know?
Also may be suffering from alzheimers... clashing with his ego.
Just saying, in hindsight, say if he passed in a year... watching this video with all the "Doug being crazy" and intense dramatic music and such... it will age like milk. :/
