I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Where I'm from skim boarding is not popular and a lot of what you learn you have to figure out on your own. Thanks for these vids.
I skimboard in georgia and we dont' get the hard crashing waves but we do get the nice long strung tides that leave wide trails of water. So what are some tips for getting out to the waves since they are farther away, every time i get to the break I just cant get over it. I have a medium exile recruit.

He said it in the beginning: Cape Verde, Africa. They normally have big waves in some beaches there. But he's not from there, he's from Portugal. Hope it helps!

dude, but why do u bounce ur front foot once ur on the board really fast? do u get more speed or something? is it a habit for pros?
it's called pumping, it keeps your speed up

i have a zap large wedge and it is alright for wave riding. im hoping to step up to the ace since they are said to be better.
