just ripped 4 hobby boxes of it. Nothing too big pulled other than Goldschmidt /50 auto. But REALLY like the photos used in the set this year. Pulled on average 1 of each of the major young rookies out of each box so it looks like Topps did a pretty good job of evenly distributing (in my small sample size). Tempted to get a couple more boxes, but knowing the print run is much higher might not make sense to do so
I agree, the photography is excellent this year! Yeah, I really want to open a few hobby boxes but I think I'll buy singles instead. There's so many good releases coming out, I need to slow it down a bit😅
Man he flew through those commons ! Does anyone even look at the commons any more ? I decided to get a binder and 9 pocket sheets this year and collect the complete set from packs.....just for the fun of it , without worrying about what "hit" card I get.
I always put complete sets together and very much enjoy collecting commons! The video was quite long and would have been around 30 minutes if I had gone through every card much slower haha It's not always about the hits, but I definitely want to provide a realistic review of what people can expect from certain product. Cool introduction to 2023 Topps Retail. I will get a couple different Complete Sets at the end of Summer and probably buy some Value Packs if they still make them of Series 1 & 2. The odds on the Hanger and Blaster Boxes are sad…but it will sell out eventually at most Retail locations because of the Rookie Cards (Base). 🤓⚾️

Going to use my buybacks to get them. Since Jumbo is the way to go. Going to stay away from retail altogether. Also have a card show im going to go to on Sunday. Hunting through the bargin bins!

I must say hanger boxes were the way to go......I think with new odds the FATT PACKS when out will be the way to get cheap way to go without getting the jumbo.......Now I collect sets. I get what I want period in the end... I do set build bt retail box taking the chance, a booster and a hanger..... I'm going to buy 5 fat packs at least... ty for your video and choice of music and I will subscribe though only on you tube as my ch is on the tube; though low-profile.

Retail pulls are rough...jumbos are gonna double in price in no time flat...you would need 800 dollars in blasters to match the hits you get in 1 jumbo, probably 450 dollars in hangers to match 1 jumbo...and I don't see retail prices going down, so jumbo will probably go up

He only had 32 at bats last year and still has some potential in my opinion. Not the best rookie in series 1 but not completely terrible👍
