Pirlo😉
Your brother is right. Messi had Xavi, Iniesta & Busquets around him. When Xavi and Iniesta left Barca, Barca started declining, and it continued to decline until Messi left in August, 2021 to PSG. Now at PSG, Messi Doesn't look like the Messi we all knew. And with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria all at PSG, Messi looks like the 3rd best Player at PSG.
Messi without xavi and iniesta is like a car without an engine
His nickname was "the illusionist"
maybe you have to try once the basic skills of football by yourself ( passing , shooting , dribbling , receiving the air balls and pass with control …. etc. ) to truly understand how hard and the true quality of the players that you react to
who knows maybe it`s gonna be in your future content ;) good luck from Egypt
He's the only player in history to win the man of the match award in a champions league final, a euros final and a world cup final. He's also the only player to ever score in all three, so he was super-clutch despite not being a goalscorer, just like Sergio Ramos
True
You don't mean he scored in all 3 finals. Right?
@@navneeetrajbora5686 Did he really mean that?
@@lucid.6610 no idea
But no ballon d'or? I wonder WHY?
This más was robed and Xavi 3/4 of the same s..t
Iniesta = Picasso
Xavi = Beethoven
They completed and complimented each others style perfectly.
Couldn't have described them better... Loved it...
Iniesta was way better, even than Messi, Iniesta was another level, and xavi understood that...
Baller, probably the most talented Spanish player ever. He hit the equivalent of the Ray Allen shot in an away win at Chelsea in the CL so his clutchness is top tier. Xavi the drums Iniesta the electric guitar Busquets is the bass and Messi the lead singer songwriter.
Wow
@@dunsonhouse the game is the game🤷🏾♂️
Yes Busquets is definitely the most underrated midfielder ever
Please don’t, I’m still dealing with the trauma.
@@justlooking1087 can't lie as a person not on either side, that was BRUTAL
It was a trio Xavi Iniesta and busquets, arguably the best midfield trio of all time, they played Together in de Spanish National team and also in Barcelona and they won literally everything in football. All 3 had different roles. Busquets was cdm so he was the one that would break the pressure and connect the defense to the midfield Xavi was a cm he would controlled the pace of the game, he was the one to decide when to attac and when to slow down and then you had Iniesta who creates the space for his teammates to be free to get the ball, he was more of a playmaker and the cherry on top was messi and that’s why that team is the greatest team of all time
I remember there was a quote, something like “if you watch the whole pitch you won’t see Sergio busquets, but if you watch Sergio busquets you see the whole game” such an underrated player. He was doing all that at like 21/22
Not the best of all time though.
@@obsidencold9491 hi madridista🙋🏽♂️
@@baadjames9630 nope not a Madrid fan or any club supported by a fascist dictator. Try again.
@@ys.v1 Ye, the quote was actually comming from former Real Madrid player and Real Madrid & Spain National Team Coach - Vincente Del Bosque
I think you guys still didn't realised how hard is to make these ball controls when it comes fast and in the air. Remember that they aren't doing it with hands, they are doing it with their foot, a thing that they need to alternate between step strong and touch gently the ball.
Iniesta didn't lose the ball until he made a pass or scored a goal. It was that simple. INSANE control
U got the point, that's w Iniesta for me Is the greatest...
Someway he never lost the ball, It was insane how he could get out of imposible Situation, where no one could scape even Maradona Ronaldinho etc, he's goat for sure 💀🔥
The goal at 24:04 was the World cup winning goal for spain💥 iniesta was man of the match in that World Cup final
forlan was the player of the tourney in 2010, Iniesta was MOTM in the final.
Magical player, pulled the strings for Barcelona and the Spanish national team for years
Andres Iniesta Infinit!!! The man for the big matches. The Illusionista.
he is an attacking midfielder he had a lot of clutch moments in big games
Always on point!!! Best american reactors to the beautiful game ...
Iniesta and xavi were very similar bit iniesta played slightly further forward...iniesta and xavi played in a midfield of 3 players....the other player was Sergio busquets....Sergio was the defensive midfielder of the 3 of them and an he was amazing aswell. It was near impossible to get the ball off they 3
Iniesta was Better Bro i mean xavi Is a beast but Iniesta Is on another level
Iniesta is one of a kind player, super reaction guys
I also found it great how you recognized how perfect he controls space and time, that’s whats it called when you said “ his pause is crazy”
A little fact Iniesta, xavi, and Messi were once the top 3 contenders for the balón de or above cr7
True
Xavi and Iniesta were an amazing duo. Two of the best midfielders of all time and they had played with eachother since an early age. Together they won everything there is to win for their club and their country.
Iniesta is more like CP3 than Xavi I think. Can dribble, can pass, can score and he was one of the most consistent players ever.
Nahh Xavi is def CP3 and Iniesta is Steve Nash.
@@ineverswag in fact, Iniesta was more like White Chocolate Williams 😂 but i agree w the CP3 - Xavi
you're getting it wrong, Xavi is an old type of point guard, while Iniesta is more like a modern day point guard, Xavi is John Stockton, Iniesta is Stephen Curry
8:05 no, the defensive midfielder was Sergio Busquets, (another legend you guys must react)
I have played and watched and loved football my entire life, and I swear to you, you will never see a better midfielder in the game - ever. You have crazy midfielders like Kevin de bruyne now, but in terms of elegance Iniesta is as good as they get ❤ Oh btw, he was more a central midfielder/ attacking midfielder for Barca. He usually had someone behind him like busquets ro allow him to focus more on creating something in attack:)
People talk about Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Dani Alves so much but they always forget my favorite... the absolutely BRILLIANT and CLUTCH David Villa... when Villa Maravilla was playing for Barca they played their absolute best football because Villa was a lethal striker that was also an excellent passer and could play on the wing too and was a stone cold killer on the biggest stage... oh, and was the more proficient player at using both feet in all of Barca by far... Villa is the most underrated player, maybe even ever (although in my book the most underrated are Henry and Totti just cause they were too good but got underrated for playing for their teams and not selling out for bigger clubs)... Villa was such a crucial part of Barca's tiki taka brilliance when he was there and he was the guy you could bet all your money he would score in the biggest games when everyone else would freeze...
@@sportschool3537 My favorite all time player next to Iñiesta.. El Guaje Villa. I still have a jersey of his when he played for Valencia. Truly one of the greatest strikers of all time and an all time great.
One of the greatest. Was a joy to watch
Xavi was once asked -What to do with a ball when you have no idea? - It's easy i pass it to Iniesta. :)
Iniesta is a midfielder, it's like a point guard in basketball, stay safe and God bless always guys, watching from the Phillipines
He scored the winning goal in the world cup final 2010 in the 116th minute
Sergio Busquets was the defensive midfielder of this iconic team, react to him and you will see what a CDM plays like.
True tall holding DM very underrated guy with eyes everywhere.
He is maestro nobody can't replace him
Don Andrés Iniesta is poetry in movement. One of the best footballers in history
Iniesta wasn't defensive, he was more offensive.. a playmaker.. He was in the midfield with Xavi Hernandez and Sergio Busquets who was the defensive (Balance player) of the 3 midfielders. :) It was pure blis watching Barcelona in the days of Xavi/iniesta.
he was a offensive midfielder , and he play with Xavi Hernandez and one of years they played together, Messi, iniesta and xavi where voted the 3 best players and even Cristiano Ronaldo didn't made it to the podium , and if you read this comment leave a like.
Show him Denis Bergkamp, The Ice Men. A legend no cap
Please do "Hatem ben arfa humiliating everyone".
The French messi 🔥🔥
The best, i mean, THE BEST midfielder of all-time. One of the most condecorated player on football history, but its not all about the titles. His talent, his sacrifice, his perfect chemistry with all the teammates, his leadership despite of being a quiet guy! I love it, probably my favorite player ever 💘
They call him "The Architect" for a good reason. He was not only able to set up the victory path (gol or goal) for his teammates, he could also finish the plan himself (scoring).
you should react to sergio busquets he was the 3rd midfielder who played with xavi and iniesta in barcelona and spain. this trio is the best midfield 3 of all time by far.
Yessir , right behind modric , kroos and casemiro
Saying no would be outlandish xavi is known for his passes so is kroos but kroos in Real Madrid has a pass rate higher then 94% I think in all his years , iniesta is known for his World Cup goal and out of his other 2 midfielders being the most well rounded (pass, dribble , scoring) all thought to win his World Cup he had a god squad while modric took his squad really far with a c tier team not to mention will be remembered for that world cup’s legendary performance also where’s iniestas ballon dor? Yeah thought so and cdm is a defensive midfielder which casemiro is just clearly more solid then busquets in fact busquets is just over rated I would argue that the barca trio would be better then the Madrid trio if they had a better cdm on there team
@@yahirzavala4353 massive 🧢
Iniesta is the type of footballer i admire. He proves you don't need to run faster than others and be stronger than others to dominate in football. You just need to know the principles of football.
Only channel I’m excited to watch
✊🏽
btw he is called "el cerebro" it means " the brain" so yes he control the game
The "tiki" in Barcelona's "Tiki Taka"! Absolute Baller!! His World Cup clinching goal for Spain in 2010 was a treat.
You guys deffo need to react to Franck Ribery - When football becomes art. One of the best ballers to come out of france, if seeing people get dropped and scoring some insane goals hes for sure worth checking out!
He the best at not moving. So many clips he just get the ball doesnt go anywhere but other team getting lost. Like he can see the game from the view of the camera. Sees everything
I'm a real madrid fan but i love this guy
This man never lost the ball one time, he was incredible.
Iniesta poetry in motion.
Day 11 of asking the Dunson's to react to Michael Laudrup skills and crazy goals. He was Ineatas insperation when Iniesta was in the Barca Academy.
i agree.. Most underrated player ever..
He was like Iniesta on steroids.. same type, just a little better in every aspect..
The defense midfilder is Sergio Busquets. He is the only one of those three that still in Bacelona
One of the few players that really masterd the La Croqueta move one of the best midfielders ever
Great vídeo Bros!! Now You need ti SEE SERGIO BUSQUETS to finish the BEST MIDDLEFIELD IN THE WORLD!!! THATS THE GLORY TIMES OF BARCELONA!
At that time Barcellona difensive strategy was ball possession and tiki taka…sometimes in football the best thing for not conceding goals is holding the ball for as long as possible waiting for the right play and score…sadly for us Real Madrid fans they was the best to do it….and when you have naturally talented and smart players like Messi Iniesta Xavi and Busquets it just comes naturally
He was loved even in Madrid everywhere
I personally fell in love with football because of these three Messi Xavi and Iniesta plus they had a great coach Guardiola who understood the game and took it to the next level with these players
He played as an attacking midfielder ahead of Xavi. Them guys are the best midfield combo you'll ever see. Iniesta's close control was mental. He and Messi could each easily take out about 5 each of the opposition players and as much as I don't like Barcelona, I admired the football. The opponents were always outnumbered against them.
Iniesta and Xavi both dissected all teams like butter .......
Iniesta was probably more of a holding midfielder. Barely lost the ball. High pass completion. Ball retention was crazy. One of the smoothest players on the ball ever. Just made it look so effortless. One of my favorite players of all time.
Btw that last goal was Spain's winning goal in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and it came with like 4 mins left in extra-time, first and only World Cup in Spain's history.
CDM= Defensive Midfielder
CM= Central midfielder
CAM= Attacking Midfielder
Iniesta was a central midfielder on the left side of the field. He was not a defensive midfielder, the key thing to understand is together Iniesta with Xavi almost never lost possession of the ball. Thus, controlling middle of the field, never letting the other teams to have control over the game. Iniesta - one of the greatest midfielders in history. The only man in history to win WC final Player of the match, Champions League final player of the match and Euro Final Player of the match. Very clutch performer, one of those players for big matches, big moments of the game when you need a big play, big goal, big assist, etc.
One of the greatest midfielders of the modern era.
The very last goal is one of the clutchest goals in World Cup's history
He watch the movement of every players in the field and make his pass
INIESTA GENIO0🙌🏻😍🇪🇸
Midfielders control the game , they have deep understanding of the game. They play a big role in the game.
One of the most elegant players
This is Picasso right here …
Iniesta is a playmaker. In American Football terms. Xavi was the quarterback, game in front of him dictating the play, Messi/Villa were the receivers. Iniesta was like a running back. Getting forward into dangerous areas
you guys hit the jackpot with the soccer reactions hahahah! and we love it !! keep them coming
if you want you should definitely check: paulo dybala when football becones art
Imagine playing on a team with Messi, Xavi, Neymar and Suarez during Barcelona's prime, and still shine!
Yo yo yo yo.... MOOKIE! 😂😂 bruh one of the best intros ever...
Now left the brain of Barcelona Midfield trio (Sergio Busquets). The guys is supper calm and intelligent
Why the actual DM was and still is Sergio Busquests. While Iniesta did help in defense, Busquests was really the one cleaning up behind them. That Barca teams was like a bball team where every position got handles. So hard to play against.
Sergio Busquets is the defensive mid. The attacking mids Xavi and Iniesta playing as right mid and left mid respectively.
The role he played is called a creative midfielder typically in a 4-3-3 system
The thing with that Barça is that they were a natural evolution of Johan Cruyff's total football. Meaning the position in the pitch were just nominal but during the match players would roam almost freely on the pitch to pressure and get control of the ball as soon as possible. So in short, Iniesta and Xavi were the central midfielders but they would play all over the pitch, moving were they were needed at the moment.
All the team moved the same way so they were covering each other spaces at all times.
Exactly Mookie he has so many good pieces around him 🤣🤣🤣😂
he was a midfielder the defensive midfielder for barca at the time and cirrently is SERGIO BUSQUETS. the most under rated CDM of all time
Sois los mejores, un abrazo desde Barcelona broooooo
Finally⚽️🔥
You should react to Yaya Toure when football becomes art. He was one of the most complete midfielders I’ve ever seen. He was a beast in defends, had a shot of a cannonball, great ball control and good speed for his size
that last goal you saw him scored was in the World Cup finals with 4 mins left of extra time. Spain won 1-0, their first and only World Cup.
The defensive midfielder was a completely different animal himself who's video you guys also need to watch. Sergio Busquets!
usually Iniesta played next to Xavi as central midfielders and had a defensive midfielder behind them (Keita and then Busquets). Messi was usually in the right wing (free roaming though) and an attacker in central offense (like Villa, Ibra at somepoint, Henry etc...) but Iniesta, Xavi and Messi were the MAGIC trio.
24:05 you guys dont understand yet (dw tho) thats the goal that made Spain world Champions for the first time in history, one of the toughest matchs ever, and Iniesta with 4 minutes left, scored.
Andreas Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez were central midfielders, they had a defensive midfielder behind them - his name is Sergio Busquets, one of the best defensive midfielders ever (he still plays for Barcelona right now, also captain of the spanish national team. Iniesta and Xavi did not really have to tackle that often, because they usually had the ball like 75% of the game, and if someone got past them, then there was still sergio busquets, carlos puyol and gerard pique (all world cup winners, european champions and multiple champions leagues)
When the game gets crazy and chaotic, you give the ball to Inesta to calm things down. He's a master.
The best midfielder of the history !
he was nicknamed the illusionist aka the illusionista, iniesta would usually play higher to help facilitate the offense and he used to be a winger when he was younger
Can you guys react to kun Aguero or van Dijk
Andres Iniesta shows that football is not only about stats, one of the greatest midfielders ever
Messi, Xavi and Iniesta what a trio
This guy is a real Jedi
Xavi and Iniesta slowed the game down passing around the ball making the opp chase, that mean't the time Messi attacked in full beast mode the opps would get caught off guard and didnt even have the energy to deal with him,Basquet,Xavi,Iniesta one of the best midfield trio's in the game, great reaction guys......There is another spainish midfielder Xabi Alonso probably the greatest long range passer of his generation.......Bless
the last goal he scores in the video by they way is one of the most important goals in football history.
he scored that goal in the world cup final in 2010 at the last possible minute, and in doing so won Spain their first world cup trophy ever.
him xavi busquets and messi were a nightmare to deal with, it's like combining Jordan, kobe and Lebron james in same team.
I looove iniesta.. So clean so good. 1 of the things i love about him is that his idol was Michael Laudrup (best player from my country ever, as i mentioned in my first comment on this channel... YOU GOTTA WATCH HIM!!) who was the first "number 10" under the first tiki taka way of playing in barca. Iniesta plays alot like him. and i LOOOOVE IT.
Iniesta and Xavi both came out of the fc Barcelona academy
Xavi and Iniesta are the two greatest midfielders of all time.. No wonder Messi is who he is today because of these greats.
it was time
Great video
He wasnt a defensive midfielder but he defended in fact by retaining the ball . He was the creator of attacking plays next to Xavi. Iniesta is the biggest spanish football Legend in History Imo. Absolute genius.
Busquets was and still is the defensive Midfielder .
You need to finish the Trilogy and react to him . Im Madridista but I consider him one the best if not the best defensive midfielder of all time.
That Barcelona team was crazy. Unreal. Like the U.S National team of Basketball in 90s :D
He was a playmaker, guys.
Finally started to record videos in 1080p
