Very cool video! I love the cars color! It's kinda close to what I wanted on my 23 sonata n line but very hard to get so I got Intense Red. I was very interested and surprised with the resonator in the air tube! I'm gonna check my car and maybe take it out. I've been collecting upgrades for my car but I'm healing right now from knee surgery. I can't wait to hear my bov on my car! I'm putting a gfb deceptor on my car so I can dial it where I want it.
Your car has a different engine than mine, not sure if your intake has that resonator or not. I love those sonatas though
This looks nice! I have the same car as you in the same color. I also made a mod video last summer. I'm using the BMS intake and I like it especially since I can easily go back to the stock intake but I would love to switch to this Shark Racing CAI. I had a Shark Racing CAI many years ago on my 2003 Tiburon GT. As you said I don't think any of these CAI do much for extra HP on this small engine but they sure do sound better with them installed.

@@zstampe you're welcome. I just commented on a few of your videos. I mostly do RC vids but I couldn't resist making a few for my new real car. My mod video has done well with 10k views so far. Much better than my recent RC videos lol.
My k5 increased its power significantly with an intake kit, I couldn't believe it!
Which one did you get?

Personally I think my k&n sounds just like it. To note I did do the turbo resonator delete from a post I saw over a year ago of parts to replace it.
I think the resonator delete is the key.

Great videos helps me save money. I am going to order the same BOV and probably this intake. Are you selling your old one? I am about to finish my blacking out of my chrome and trim. Your exhaust doesn’t sound stock what did you do. My only inline 4 was a Ford Focus ST it had a great sound and just don’t want my 23 K5 to sound like a rice box.

The K&N does not delete the resonator. I installed one on my 23. I am returning it and buying the shark racing. The K&N has almost zero sound the car might as well still have the factory intake.

Does it come with the rubber piece you have the smaller clamp on or did you get that separate? Located where you would connect the previous hose

I’m sure there is, just need to figure out the size of the inlet, the intake tube and the angle you need
I have been trying to find a air intake for my 2024 GT, but I only find them for the 1.6 and not the 2.5…. Any suggestions???

I'm looking at 2024 K5's. Why did you go with the GT Line over the GT? Was it strictly due to price? I almost bought a 2024 pearl white K5 GT on Friday but at the last minute I pulled out of the deal because it had the GT1 package and I just felt like that was out of my price range once everything was tallied up. The GT1 package added almost an extra $4,500 to the price of the car. Now I am leaning toward a 2024 wolf gray K5 GT without the GT1 package. Do you know what kind of speakers come in the K5 GT?
I went GT line because i wanted the AWD. I really regret not getting the GT some days if I’m honest.
The GT without the GT1 package has the basic speakers like I have. If you search my videos it’s easy to upgrade them with something different and you’ll have decent results too.

do you go through any over heating or does this make a good job of that not happening with it being a hot air intake
Never overheated, and it's not a hot air intake according to my intake air temps

How has your experience been with Shark Racing?
Fine, they sent me a wrong part on another order but got it corrected quickly. Their shipping times are slow but that’s understandable as most stuff comes from Korea

Do u feel more power by adding the shark intake?
No, maybe a little better throttle response but I mainly got it for the turbo noise
Is that all you added to it just the shark intake?

Its not turbo noise, its the turbo spooling up.
