The wireless connectivity is a radio, just like microphone packs. This is not a new innovation, just good advertising. Plenty of DJs are accomplishing long range, low latency with mic receivers. The Everse 8 is purpose built for public announcements, which is why it has so many vocal effects, ducking, and feedback suppression. This pioneer unit’s back panel looks very dated. Everse 8 looks more sleek and high end, especially in white.

  • @floridagameshow

I'm not convinced this is better than the Everse 8 other than the sonic transmitter/receiver. But, that is doing 2.4-2.4835 Ghz which would make me a bit hesitant. I currently use a 5.Ghz Wireless system with my Everse 8s that work great.
I haven't seen a maximum SPL for the Wave 8 yet (Everse is 121dB) and amp is 110W vs. 400W. I think I'm on the sideline for this one right now.
