Here are the steps to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa in Greece:
1. Check Eligibility Requirements
You must be a non-EU/EEA citizen.
You need to have a work contract with a company outside Greece, or you can be self-employed working with clients based abroad.
Meet the income threshold: For Greece, you need to prove you earn at least €3,500 per month (increased by 20% for a spouse and 15% for each child if applicable).
2. Gather Required Documents
A valid passport.
Proof of remote work (employment contract or client agreements).
Proof of sufficient income (bank statements, salary slips, etc.).
Proof of health insurance that covers your stay in Greece.
Proof of accommodation (rental agreement or housing arrangement).
3. Submit Your Application
Apply at the Greek consulate or embassy in your home country.
Some countries allow online submission, so check with your local Greek consulate for the specific process.
4. Pay the Visa Fee
The fee for the Digital Nomad Visa application is typically around €75.
5. Wait for Approval
The visa processing time can vary but generally takes a few weeks. You will be notified once the decision is made.
6. Enter Greece and Register
Once your visa is approved, you can enter Greece. After arriving, you must register for a residence permit within the first few months at the local Aliens and Immigration Department in Greece.
These steps provide a general framework, but it's important to confirm specific details and regulations with your local Greek consulate, as procedures can vary.

Ah man, you make me laugh. "Don't just show up for a pay cheque, when can I have my lunch, when can I go on holiday, and today I'm going on strike". 😂😂...it's only funny because it is true for a lot of people! The problem is, the standard 9 to 5 generally doesn't reward good work. I am all about working for yourself now too after so many disappointments in standard 9 to 5s. I can't take them anymore. I have always had good relationships too but so often you're just another number to the boss. I think working for yourself is the future! Independence, accountability to yourself and it is what you make it for yourself! Thank you, my friend....very wise as always!
My favourite channel! My family and I will be moving to Greece in the next two years. Currently working through the process of getting my Greek passport. I cannot wait to be home ❤️❤️
"I work 100% online." Cat cries foul.....
Νόμισα ότι η κιθάρα είναι Gibson αλλά δεν φαίνεται καθαρά το λογότυπο!
i hope that greece one day will become a paradise for all foreigners like you and locals
That works out to be 11000 au dollars a month if we applied from aus what the hell would u need 11000 dollars a month for 😂😂😂
Hmmm....so then if I have dual citizenship and work remotely in Greece for a foreign company headquartered in the USA, I wouldn't be subject to any of the DNV requirements, right?
