I think that Mercury is a conductor of electricity and a poor conducter of heat. Also, we do not use any other metal because it is only metal that is liquid at room temperature.... Hope it helped...

I think that Mercury is a conductor of electricity and a poor conducter of heat. Also, we do not use any other metal because it is only metal that is liquid at room temperature....
