The DB9-era cars are so much better-looking than the current DB11-era. Also, perfectly smooth shifts are anethema to character. I don't want my sporty cars to be smooth, I want some reasonable amount of jolt to communicate the event; that there is some finesse to getting that jolt to be less jolting only adds to the fun.
Agreed, I always try my best to coax a smooth shift from my Sportshift II

I've always loved the sound of this V8, although I have the sense that it softened in the 4.7 version! The 4.3 sounds more "hard rock" and it is much louder too! But either way, this V8 is one of the best sounding V8s ever! 🤘
The looks are incredible, the car absolutely doesn't show its 16 years, both inside and out! And the colour combo of this spec is amazing, Emerald Green metallic with matching carpeting, Caramel Brown leather and Red Open Pore wood! Gosh! 💗

I do love the V12 (especially the startup sequence sounds), but the lighter V8 gives the Vantage a nimble feeling when you chuck it into a corner.

Really nice car, lovely green colour, but I can't help but hearing the exact same seat belt reminder as my 07 Volvo v70 has, and seeing the Ford/Volvo window switches aswell. You certainly can sense some Ford in that interior

throttle response is so slooooow on my 2007 vantage manual that rev-matching is next to impossible. it's like trying to have a phone conversation with a two second delay in it.

I look over my shoulder quite a bit on camera. It's less noticeable since the lens doesn't move with my eyes so you only see the angle of my head rather than my actual field of view
