You don't see Brad shred on an acoustic like that often, would have been nice to hear what it sounded like.
Great performance though
Thought the same thing - is Brad's guitar even live? I can see him playing riffs throughout, but can't hear it in the mix. Assuming it can be chalked up to technical difficulty, because there's no reason to turn Brad Paisley's guitar down to zero.
I kinda heard it… it sounded off so maybe that’s why they turned it down. 🤷🏽♀️

@@ChadStevensND During intro is when he knows something’s wrong. As a guitarist, it can get confusing-
1. Brad finally figured out that he can’t hear his guitar in his monitor. Tho, he may see a signal or think that maybe Allen’s guitar is just overpowering him on stage, but the speaker mix is fine.
2. Once he determines he can’t hear his guitar….He now doesn’t know if it’s just his monitor and the audience may be hearing full volume. So he decides to play a simple muted rhythm…then puts his ear to his guitar to play the solo, just in case audience can hear or audio can be recovered and put on the recorded version.
I’ve been there. Normally his guitar tech would bring him a new guitar on stage..but there are no stage techs for a radio gig. Maybe I’ll learn his solo one day by visuals and overdub it haha.
@ The guitarist on the left kept looking over at BP. It was out from the start. He tried every variation of each chord to double check. What you’re hearing is the actual unmiced acoustic sound of his guitar.
