I have both the SD 1970 an the Cadison MAS62. Great watches but even better on a good rubber/silicon strap. It just seems closer to the real McCoy like that. I gifted my brother my Duro because it was so massive and after wearing it once, it just started gathering dust in the cupboard. I really wanted that Duro to work. Dammit!!
I bought my Duro about 4 years ago and it's great. The strap is rubbish however and I battle to find a steel replacement that costs less than the watch. The Steeldive is a very good buy ‼️
i have the mtd 1053d and the sd 1970. The casio is 50 euros here in greece and i have it on a nato strap. The steeldive is a far superior watch in every way but i trust the water resistance more one the casio and also i care more about the steeldive so that's why i use the casio for my snorkelling. 3 summers with over 150 swims total and it delivers. The sd1970 is more of a summer everyday wearer for me and it's awesome. Overall great watches!
Nice video,im new to the channel, the casio duro is trully a legend but I dont have it,what I have is the Casio Mtd 1053,the so called mini duro,in black dial which is really impressive.Took it to the sea up to 7meters dive, its really impressive 200m water resistance and of very good quality for a cheap price!!About 55 euros here in Greece, and a very reliable, massive and quality diver watch!!!
Welcome to the channel, I hope you enjoy the content! Thank you very much for sharing your diving experience! I'm glad the 1053 took it without issue 😊.
I have all of these except the Cadisen...which I think I need to pick up in the next Ail sale. I would rate the Steeldive and the Invicta as the best for the money.... both great value and great to wear. The Duro is solid and the best entry watch for someone on a budget getting into divers...but the lume is a bit weak. The MTD 1053D doesn't really do anything better than the Duro except the cheap quality bracelet so I would stick with the Duro unless you must have a metal bracelet...In which case get the Steeldive or the Invicta. I would maybe add a Vostok into the mix but I did not have good luck with the one I bought and I'm waiting for prices to come down before giving them a second chance. Great selection!
Thank you so much! You are spot on! Yes I'm going to recommend the Cadisen for the sale as well. Too bad for Vostok, what happened? I've had my Scuba Dude for quiet a while now, buy haven't worn it for ages
had it for a week then it just stopped. I wore it on the wrist for a day to see if the movement would kick start no joy, used the hand winding per the instructions taking care not to over wind it, then let it spend another day on the wrist but it would not revive. I really liked it so requested a repair or replacement but in the end it got refunded and returned. I've heard many people have found them reliable so put it down to getting a Monday morning one. Still the return service left me with confidence to try again soon. Cheers! @@Horologique
The steeldive "willard" rattles the Homage cage I bit in my mind. Yes the design is a direct copy of the Vietnam era Seiko, but with the creep of time, it has way better specs and performance than the original. If I remember correctly Seiko did a re-issue of the Willard as a prospex and the steeldive performed well compared to that in terms of specs too. Can a person reasonably look down on a homage when it is arguably better than the original and equal Seiko's own homage (at 20% if the price)?
Thank you for your insights. Well actually no, you cannot look down at this homage, especially because it's so well built and it starting rolling out before Seiko did it's reissue. It probably pushed Seiko to do the reissue actually, it performed that well
WELL ALL THE WATCHES ARE FANTASTIC I WILL ADD THEM TO MY COLLECTION BUT THAT CASIO DURO IS JUST ONE OF A KIND LIKE I SAID BEFORE YOU ARE THE KING OF WATCHES THANKS
Take out the Casio Duro and add the Addiesdive quartz sub homage, or any number of Pagani Design sub homages. A few weeks ago Watchfinder recommended an Invicta diver (9010OB) that is all gold and has a Yachmaster style of bezel-- sounds awful but it looks great.
i liké thé captain Willard hommage and i Can advice the cadisen 62mas hommage and thé boderry voyager who are very good Watches i own already. thanks for your dedication! good job again, this review gives Real envy, hard to resist...😎😎😎
Exceptuando los chinescos que no me gustan pero muy buena lista. Hay una marca de 🇺🇸 que se llama Aragon y de vez en cuando tienen unos verdaderos tanques de guerra por menos de $100. Un abrazo mi pana 👍
I dont know, that diver's on the invicta seems untrustworthy. My 2nd gen monster doesn't have lume near the day/date but my 4th gen does, also my samurai does and also my Citizen orca. I imagine iso certifications may change but is it really iso certified?? 🤔 Like many said in the comments aragon is a good brand with affordable prices. Lately they been making smaller sizes available.. Many other Chinese brands available but that was a cool video. Not only enjoying watches doesn't need to be expensive, you can go for homages that some are built quiye well.. 😊
I have both the Casio Duro and the Steeldive SD1970. Both are solid choices that are great!! Thanks for finding these!!

Essential content in tough times😊

thanks for the video

I'm glad it's still going strong. Have you had to replace the battery yet? It's supposed to last only 3 years

Casio Duro on a premium nylon strap from Crown and Buckle looks amazing. Love my Duro

I think Aragon may have a few models available on discount-very near the 100 mark

Its incredible we live in a time where any watch is under 100 dollars
You are right about that! It wasn't an easy challenge to find 200m WR watches at this price point, but there you go 😏
As much as I like Casio, they did to the Duro, what Seiko did to the SKX.
That invicta is no longer a 'divers' watch by the newer standard since it has no lume at the 3 as far as I'm aware.

Great options, champagne tastes on a beer budget!
What a great way to put it 👍
Can you please review Indian watch brand Titan they have quality time pieces.😊

Muchas gracias querido Byron! Sí, je oído hablar de Aragon pero no he podido probar ninguno de sus relojes.
Un abrazo igualmente y hasta pronto!
I'm waiting for the french version... ;)
Duro is automatic?
No quartz

The Seiko Monster Gen 2 is absolutely fabulous, it's in my wrist right now 😊

Great watches, but all Chinese, right? Sigh… I know, there’s no way you could get this kind of quality at these prices made anywhere else.
half of these are quartz
Тупой обзор. ГДЕ АМФИБИЯ????
Quite a challenge finding decent dive watches under $100, well done, I wouldn't be embarrassed to wear any of those 👍
Thank you so much! I would be glad to wear any of these watches as well, I actually am as I own most of them 😁
@@Horologique It's funny, I find I get as much if not more pleasure wearing a cheap watch as a more expensive one 👍
