Essentially yes that’s what unions are. But Unions also provide far better benefits, working conditions (normally, some unions are still corrupt.) and many other benefits. I work for UPS with Teamsters as my union. Unions are 100% necessary in todays work force with labor cuts and work conditions.
Screw TCGPlayer, bought a card and the seller canceled shipping without telling me as soon as the card started going up in price, got ahold of TCG and they told me to wait til the arrival date to see if it arrives never does and I'm told to deal with it. Then seller relists it for the new higher price
😮 imagine they were unionizing because they saw the deal coming with eBay thinking the achievement of management was actually just a dream team doing all the work was up for equal reward… but he bounced on the dream team that worked hard for the eBay deal… he couldn’t have done all on his own
Don't be surprised if a few years from now they nuke the tcgplayer business because the Union asks for too much. Go read about the original Hostess company.
He sold at a big peak. I'd also bail lmao. Specially with all that moneys. I sold my Ebay stock at the peak. Was I supposed to hold it and loose? Ebay made a mistake and shoulda waited. Guess they had to much cash and that it was a good way to put it aside.
If the workers there were being treated well and paid fairly they wouldn't have even thought to create a union. This applies to every place that unionized, ever. Corporations only care about profit. Note that employees are not included in that last statement...
I pay 5$ a month for my union. We get guaranteed cost of living raises. For example I work in shipping my company pays 23 to start at our location, or competitor pays 12.95 to start and they get .25 cent raises and only hire part time. So they give their employees 240 dollars more per year. We get a min. 1.25 for cost of living as well as a .50 yearly time with company raise. The other company, who I worked for as well is a revolving door of workers, many more packages get damaged or lost, and the overall offeciency of the company is going to shit. As for the making money, making money is fine if you're not trying to make so much money that your family if you have them doesn't have to work for generations. In order to make that kind of money you must be taking money from the working class families. Example 10 million at retirement isn't that much and isn't going to set your family for generations. If your kids are smart then you and your children will be set and your grandkids will have a nice setup. Now when you get into these people with 500 million plus, you only get that by being able to afford to legally cheat the tax system and not pay your fair share. The tax laws are set up to allow people at the top to skirt the line of legality where as working people can't afford to find those loopholes. It's crazy to me that people don't understand how company boards work. They are stepping stones for those people to make more personal money and they don't give a shot about the companies long term. They want to look good whole their there so they can move on to a higher paying company with bigger bonuses. Guaranteed the dude is ready to fucking party and enjoy his life instead of grinding away like a slave forever. To me its more respectable to just say wow I'm made and can quit and not keep trying to make more and more like a bezos or gates.

Essentially yes that’s what unions are. But Unions also provide far better benefits, working conditions (normally, some unions are still corrupt.) and many other benefits. I work for UPS with Teamsters as my union. Unions are 100% necessary in todays work force with labor cuts and work conditions.
Dude said F it, y'all wanna unionize. I made my bread and I'm not gonna deal with that headache.
Imagine saying "I do this to make money"
Ie: "im a business"
And you have to be careful because that, could be offensive.
😂🤣
*Rudy's ESG score drops*
Wow I actually know something Rudy doesn't I'm in a Union and it's freaking awesome. Just had to brag no other reason
The onepiece tcg tournament at the lgs was bigger than any macig tournament in the last months...
I'm honestly believing this is a good thing!
Screw TCGPlayer, bought a card and the seller canceled shipping without telling me as soon as the card started going up in price, got ahold of TCG and they told me to wait til the arrival date to see if it arrives never does and I'm told to deal with it. Then seller relists it for the new higher price
😮 imagine they were unionizing because they saw the deal coming with eBay thinking the achievement of management was actually just a dream team doing all the work was up for equal reward… but he bounced on the dream team that worked hard for the eBay deal… he couldn’t have done all on his own
😂 sorry, just rattling
He probably stayed in to help the union vote go through and then left. With the exception of that a ceo leaving after m&a happens all the time.
Don't be surprised if a few years from now they nuke the tcgplayer business because the Union asks for too much. Go read about the original Hostess company.
More like fired - clearly a “hey you can quit and write a nice email to everyone or we can give you the axe”
Thanks Rudy
He saw what was happening with the Booby Trap NM from Tempest and just couldn't handle it anymore.
Still want to hear your thoughts on the One Piece Card game?
At first he said he wants nothing to do with it but now he's ordering boxes so god knows.
i dont have any control I just own 6 figures worth of hasbro stock and made the biggest sealed deal I have ever made direct with WOTC this month.
He got paid, now he's getting out. Who cares? His life, his choice.
He sold at a big peak. I'd also bail lmao. Specially with all that moneys.
I sold my Ebay stock at the peak. Was I supposed to hold it and loose? Ebay made a mistake and shoulda waited.
Guess they had to much cash and that it was a good way to put it aside.
Wait why did the adventure time cards skyrocket?
Because weiss is the 5th top selling TCG/CCG in north america now
Nice new t. Fresh off the shelf?
3:00 that's the idealized version of labor unions. Never works out that way.
If the workers there were being treated well and paid fairly they wouldn't have even thought to create a union.
This applies to every place that unionized, ever.
Corporations only care about profit.
Note that employees are not included in that last statement...
I just want the ability to set it so that I can charge more for shipping when someone buys 100 commons from me…..
Thanks. 😊😊😊
i remember when those batman boxes were so cheap
Yep. Someone was flogging them for £20 a pack a while ago on eBay. They actually sold out after a while. Madness.
Great video
Rudy = GOAT
The taco bell app is being advertised on this channel. What a time to be alive
rudy please give your opinion on the 1/1 Tyler the great warrior card going for auction on april 19th. is going to be sold for over $250,000?
Nothings really gonna change. Like crunchyroll taking over funimation. Pricing might change a bit but not much else.
Fat payday, offload a headache, reduce stress, reduce drama....win, win, win, win. It's not hard math.
Rudy where is your lgs? I want to play you
I pay 5$ a month for my union.
Saying there's no tinfoil hat conspiracies is EXACTLY what the lizard people would tell us.
Why would he quit on money?! I don't buy it, not enough to justify why he quit and sold it (I respect your opinion how you put in a nice way).
let's face it.. folks go into business TO MAKE MONEY. If dude got paid 295 million from ebay... job well done.
