@@ManueldoesMotion I just finshed making it
@@rykstudio That's awesome! 👏🏻
I am shocked how you made such an easy stuff that complicated xD
What’s the easy way then?
nice tutorial. but only one question, sir. when you talk about closing the paper, i cant do it. how im supposed to create a new solid without puting inside the work space thing? thanks for the help :)
Hi! Could you give me the exact time in the video? That would help.
top!!
Thanks!
this is a great tutorial.. my only suggestion (though I am 2 years too late) is to go a tiny bit slower.. I will have to watch this a few times before even starting.... like when you are connecting frames together. thank you very much for making the video!!! I wish there was one for cracking the face apart and then the pieces falling off the screen or piling up at the bottom :)
Hey thanks for your feedback! I think my new tutorials are slower.
Hey man, is there any possibility to get the alpha channel to tear apart and and show something behind it? Would be useful for a twitch overlay
Hey! You could delete the background layer. Then it would be transparent behind the paper. You need to render it with an integrated straight alpha channel.
4.11 how did you made the solid in to visible to the footage composite.. Some one please explains
As a slow learner, the video is 8 mins, I learned for about 1 hour ;))
Don’t worry! That’s not slow!
nice❤️.
Can you do a 2D logo animation tutorial?
Thx very much! Yes, that’s actually on my list.
@@ManueldoesMotion That's great❤️
this is the best paper rip effect, do you have the tuto for premiere?
Awesome. It’s After Effects only.
it is magic.....
Thanks!
Hi im doing this in AAE CS6 and i dont have the whip link thing on Mask Path to be able to link the layers?
You should have it. Maybe the column is hidden?
The tutorial is very detailed, but I can't follow after a certain point unfortunately. Not complaining, just some feedback for future tutorials: if you explain the why of every step, it will be easier to follow instead of "do this then do this then that". I can't understand for example why we duplicate the layers so many times, and for my specific need of this animation, a bit different than what you showed, I got lost.
Great tutorial, sir, can i do the same but instead of image can i use a video?
Thanks very much! Of course you can use a video as well!
@@ManueldoesMotion thank u so much for answer my doubts sir! U rock!! :)
I've been trying to change the Track matte of the footage comps to Luma but that option isn't available for me. It instead tells me to choose which layer to matte it to. Do you have any advice for this?
The track matte system changed in After Effects 23. In this video you'll see how to use it: ruclips.net/video/0hevduJDDjg/видео.html
@ManueldoesMotion Thanks for the quick reply, I seem to have messed something up along the way where the white mask is still showing at the beginning of the animation (image looking distorted or already ripped). Any way to fix that?
can you share the rip sound effect?
Unfortunately I don't have the rights to share it. I got it from www.artlist.io
4:07 my AE doesn't have TricMat. I don't know what to do
What version of After Effects are you using?
3:13 Which music is this?
It’s such a long time ago I can’t really say. I use www.artlist.io for all my music.
This was a good tutorial but you don't really explain WHY you are doing certain things until after they have been done or later, in the tutorial it would have helped to understand why so that things would make sense all the way through.
Thanks very much for your feedback!
I bet most people like this tutorial style but it's not for newbies. It's too fast. I just end up spending the whole time pausing and rewinding, pausing and rewinding. It's probably a good tutorial but rushing through it is too annoying for me.
Sorry it is too fast. You're right, my tutorials are probably too advanced for beginners. You should know the software and have some experience. I always try to find a balance between the length of the video and the content speed. Which is tough:)
Complicated, hard to follow.
Yeah you need som experience. It's not a beginner tutorial.
this is awful tutorial for beginer
there is no explain so many option menu but what is or why appear
and spacially
its not commend+n
its ctrl + n !!!!!
It is no beginner tutorial. And the shortcuts depend on the system you work on. The shortcut is command+n on Macs.
@@ManueldoesMotion this is a funny comment up here. I actually like that it's Ctrl+N in your video, lol.
