People go to the market to use those blenders not because they can't "afford a blender" but because it makes sense when you are blending large quantities.. rather than doing many batches on your home blender. And its good for hard things like beans which if you make often can spoil a small blender.. having said that this particular vendor is not neat.. alwas look out for the neat one's

In Jamaica we say pepper sauce. We make at home, this would be sliced up peppers, onions cut in tings raw carrots, raw chow chow, vinegar pepper corns maybe cucumber. Some people also use raw sweets potato chunks and this is all fermented in vinegar and salt to make a pickle Jamaican style.
