I absolutely admire his technique! Amazing. Thanks for uploading and good English translation. Not to shake the upper body is really a good advice that I’d never come up with by myself. It’s kinda secret key for weight transfer. Always seeing pro-players and just good players I felt the difference in their body language but never could exactly tell it. Thanx a lot!!!
@@toekneema How I understand this: This player keeps turning his upper body and shoulder a bit too much immediately after hitting the ball, whereas Ryu fixes his movement. I believe, by standing that far from the table and moreover looping against the block, it's no use of doing "after-swing" as if you'd counter-loop. To me, that looks like the upper body would shake.
@Dan I suppose, the man was turning his shoulder and the whole upper-body after hitting the ball, which isn't needed by that kind of loop against the block. Just to compare, Ryu fixes his arm after hitting, which he meant to explain by telling to be focused on the ball. Well, that's my understanding.
RSM should travel to as many countries as possible to teach JPEN Players. The art of JPEN is dying at an alarming rate all over the world. RSM's effort will be greatly welcome by so many countries.
I subscribed because of English subtitles provided on every video, very helpful & thanks. Keep posting with English subtitles. Great channel.
I’m shake hand but still loving these videos! RSM is a legend!

@@toekneema I think he jumps too much like women players used to do in the past.

What's shoto?
Uni Assistance Shoto = Traditional Penhold backhand (Not Reverse Penhold Backhand)
@@jackys4511 Thanks.
쇼트가 shoto가 아니고 그냥 short 아닌가여
저도 첨에 그렇게 생각했는데, 외국에서 많이 쓰는 용어입니다.
