  • how to make hats and fascinators of different style and with different materials.
    the following are what is required to made the satellite hat.
    1. Sinamay / paper mat to bloch the crown
    2. Net fabric
    3. Millinery wire (74 inches for the brim & 26 inches for the crown)
    4. all purpose adhesive
    5. Bias

    Would this method work with sinamay? I want to make a very large brimmed Edwardian hat that curls up on just one side. Or would I have to make a block? Thank you.

    Tha ls.for.sharing..but i kinda likednit with the blue....and adding both xolors in decoration would of been good.

      that is a millinery wire for hat making. and the name of the adhesive is called UHU gum.

      You can buy them premade on the market in different sizes.

      You can make it round by joining both ends either with cellotape or thread.
