I loved those two together back in the day. I thought Scotty was sooo cute, and Laura lovely as usual, but oh, she was so young! I felt so sorry for Scott when LnL ran off together. Both TG and GF are great actors and had many exciting adventures together. But I think she and Scotty were a more attractive, age-appropriate couple than Luke and Laura. TG is 15 years older than Genie and, no disrespect intended to Mr. Geary, but the age gap showed.

Just some more horrible rewrites. The Luke we knew from the 80's never would have cheated on Laura. They wanted to destroy their love story and had to come up with a lot of rewrites to do that.
