I've bought tickets on C-trip - not all that convenient because you still have to queue to get the ticket at the station, but at least you have a reservation
I noticed that narrow lane you ride thru' in the morning is relatively obstacle free, even if its just skirting the homes on the side. And also the river is trash free, alot of painstaking planning done upstream I guess, no factories, markets...etc. Its took decades to clean our rivers here.
Xiaolan is a nice small town. There are parts that don't look nearly as nice as that one, but that is the older part of town that hasn't been remade with factories. I enjoy my commute.
I am the local of xiaolan....actually there are so many supermarket and factories....in this vedio,it is the order part of what we see。the river is near my home
I was live in Guangzhou , Spring is mosquito season, beware of Dengue fever. Have fun in GZ, along the Pearl river is beautiful. please share move . thanks
Too bad there wasn't a mosquito net in your room above the bed.. that would have driven me nuts having to deal with mosquitoes especially when you're so exhausted.. that is definitely a nightmare . I guess if the room had a c then you wouldn't have had that problem ? I'm trying to figure out how all the mosquitoes got in there do they not have screens on the windows ?
... to be learned. Didi is what they use here (i believe Uber sold their operations to them), but the app is all in Chinese. However, they are going to release an English version in some cities this year.
Actually, Uber China has been sold to DiDi long time ago.Hence, Whatever you open Uber or Didi app, they share one system. But I still believe that using those app will always be better than calling a cab. There has a feedback system between drivers and customers in those apps. Also, the quality of driver will better than normal cab's, which will definitely give you a better user experience.
have a nice day

I haven't tried that yet. I'll have to give it a shot.
Did you order to have ticket to be delivered ?
You know me and bugs. Glad you shared this adventure and not with me. Have fun next week!
I'll take plenty of video
i have experienced the same things while trying to catch the last subway in Guangzhou, you have to run through the midway, otherwise often no luck.
It's what i get for trying to grab the 7 line to the 3. Usually I stay on Shamian Island which is a straight shot north from the train station.
hmmmmm handsme!!! nhame nhame! ;)

no screens on the windows here. mosquitos are a part of the life.
Why don't you use UBER in the city? It's quite formal than cab.

Why you never chat with other passengers ? Shy or language barrier?
Mostly language barrier...
Maybe somebody need a video to teach foreigners simple expressions..
U need to report that taxi driver. It’s illegal if u have paid the full price...can’t believe it happens in Guangzhou omg
Guangzhou taxis are the worst. I have never had a good experience with them. Other cities; i never have a problem and they're great.
Walkabout Rojo oh wow,,,, they r supposed to be the first tier city. Guess it’s better to just go for Didi then...
xiaonan to tianhe 孝感市孝南站to武汉天河机场
中山小榄 到广州天河 嘿嘿嘿

It's common. Cantonese is a loud, happy language.
This guy is not speaking Cantonese, it is Mandarin(with accent)
