Woody Woodman is amazingly insightful about storyboarding. I feel like he approaches storyboarding like a director and cinematographer. Thank you so much for the sneak peek.

I took a moment to draw up a small storyboard template (6 thumbnail images on a single page, some room on the top and side for title and notes). I did a mock-up of the treasure planet scene with Silver entering the room being jovial, then jolting into rage (as far as my memory could provide). An hour later, while I know I didn't get half of the nuances of the scene, my gosh I had fun.
Thank you, I've never done anything like this before. I'm hoping to make drawing storyboards part of a daily routine.

An amazing teacher ! Aaron, will you consider making a course about layout or special effects animation ?

This is really a wonderful course. I am too old to learn this things now but I remember times I was trying to learn story boarding by pausing on each cut of movies and drawing the scene as a story board without actually understanding what was the theory behind of their design. It is good to see more and more artists are sharing their experiences here. Thanks Aaron and Woody.

Do not let age control and ruin your fun to learn and try new things, you are never too old to learn new things and try things out. Life is too short to think that way anyway.

The progression of this course seems spot-on useful to someone like me, who has moderate drawing experience but little storyboarding experience.
Categorically, the progression seems like: drawing a character emoting -> sequential storytelling -> beat boards -> storyboards. Specifically, the progression seems like drawing a single character emoting -> contextualizing him in a story -> adding the visual story details (interacting with another character/location/prop).
I hope it helps (well, my current feedback on the course & this course to me). Now that I've bought it, I'm looking forward to the rest!

AI will take over lot of work eventually. But take it positively. I'm deciding to make a million dollars move in minimum budget using AI. Take it positively and u can benefit a lot from AI instead
