Three yrs ago for Mothers Day, my cousin & I made 4 different quiche’s...asparagus/ham/cheese, spinach/bacon/cheese, all veggies & sausage/broccoli/cheese...all turned out great! Served with a big fresh fruit salad & croissants. With quiche, you can put any ingredients in it...whatever you like. Very versatile! I love how you layered the ingredients...never thought to do that!

Celebrated my Aunt Rosa’s 70th birthday! She’s the best aunt...ever!! Made a meal for friends who had surgery. They were so thankful. And worked in the yard on Saturday. Great weekend that went by quickly! As far as quiche...love it!! My husband didn’t think he would enjoy it until I made it with bacon!!! That changed his mind..lol
The wonderful thing about Quiche is you can pretty much put anything in it you want. But you will need some practice with cook times and things like that. Don't be afraid to experiment... Just don't do the crazy experiment if you have a bunch of folks coming over for dinner! Do the known good one for that! LOL... I have had to feed some of my quiche to the neighbors dogs (with permission of course.) Enjoy this wonderful and versatile dish! When you get it right your friends will be impressed! it took me about 3-4 tries to get decent at it. Now I'm trying to get really good... I had bad luck with bread flour, I prefer all purpose.

Spent the weekend on the glorious coast of Maine! About 60° on the beaches. Ate lots of lobster and blueberries! Even had lemon-blueberry muffins...like that beautiful cake you made!

I love quiche ! I made mine with hot breakfast sausage (patties). It turned out great. It gave it more flavor. I've never tried using bacon..but will definitely try it. Can't go wrong with bacon !!

It’s September 2020 and I’m in central Florida near the coastline. It’s been raining off and on for several days. The animals are beginning to line up in two side by side. We are all wearing masks when we dare to venture out in public. Prayers being sent for those in the path of the hurricanes making their way towards the Gulf Coast states of Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Evacuations taking place at this time. The west area of our country is being ravaged by out-of-control fires. We all need to pray for our country and our people. Thank you, Gina, for this respite in my life. God Bless.

I absolutely adore quiche! I was wondering if I could make quiche but I tried a few years ago and it was great. I learned that it's not that hard but does require some practice, there's a balance involved. I tried doing a goat cheese and asparagus quiche. But my two favorate are egg and bacon with carmelized onions or broccoli and cheese. I have never thought about peas but I'm open to trying.
Had a great weekend. Spent most of it in the garden getting it ready for summer. Today is cold here only 55. We have had a very wet and cool spring. Hopefully it turns around soon.

i have just tried this quice ... oh my gosh it it awesome !!! i did put some roma tomatoes on the top and put it on broil and some jalepenos but oh my goodness so good. we are 93 degress here in NC

Hey 👋 Gina how are you? I’m new subbie and I love Quiche.I’m pescatarian.I love potatoes 🥔 in my quiche, spinach and vegan crumbles instead of real meat products. Even vegan 🌱 sausages are delicious 🤤 in replace of real fatty greasy sausages. Tfs until next time cheers 🥂❤️❤️
I get a good browned on the bottom crust without the blind cooking. I get 2 pack crust at Albertsons Signature brand. I cook at 425 degrees for 15 minutes in a preheated oven then i turn it down to 350 degrees. I cover edges with tin foil. I hate peas. I use zucchini and yellow squash. Garlic salt with parsley, paprika, chives (dollar store), black pepper, onion powder (optional), i like mexican cheese and parmesan. Onion doesnot need to be precooked but i put them in the bottom first. I don't use tomatoes. Dried leeks or white part of fresh leek chopped fine is extra yummy. Shredded carrot real pretty. Don't overfill crust. Can get precooked bacon pieces at Costco to save time. I make 2 quiche at one time. 1 cup whipping cream and nine large whole raw eggs. Everyone raves at my quiche. Garlic is great, but i just use the garlic salt with parsley. Chop onion, squash.

Love quiche!! I add a bit of flour to mine and skip the crust entirely. Then I wrap andfreeze slices separately- quick easy meal to go!

Partial to ham and Swiss cheese quiche. Years ago bisquick had tons of recipes for crustless quiches. My kids enjoyed those too

Gina put a cookie sheet on the lower rack so it does not spill on the bottom of your oven.
