Awesome video man! This is the exact information I needed. Didn't know you could angle the spindles for more camber, that's good to know. Will shortening them 20mm be enough or is 30mm the way to go?
Question, does just shortening the spindles give more negative camber or do you have to tilt them aswell? I’m only looking for a couple more degrees and to stop the control arm from hitting the tower.
Shortening will not give you camber but WILL stop it from smacking the body. Shortened and tilted, even just a few degrees, seems like the way to go for you

I have nothing against Godspeed but some others do. They work but aren’t the best quality, most people complain about their balljoints compared to some other quality balljoints. I’m running Godspeed and I know plenty others that do
Hey bro I have a question, I put megan racing adjustable fromt upper control arms and want to go lower in the front but if I do it’ll hit the top , you think if I shortened the spindles it’ll help ?
Hi i recently try installing my tilted/shorten spindle tilted to -8 degree on my 2gs but it was touching the coils already with stock fuca. I'm planning to to put serial9 fuca too so would the best option for me is tophat ? I also have nrca coming too.
Seems like whoever did it, tilted them wrong, I’ve made that mistake when first doing them and learning the most efficient ways. I’ve achieved -15 from spindles alone with no problems hitting the coil. If you stick with those spindles yes you’ll need a top hat to slide the coilover back, if not just bml on IG and I’ll get you right🤟
For at home, a straight piece of wood or metal across the middle of the wheel (reaching all the way across the outsides of the lip) and a degree gauge. You can use the “measure” app and there is a degree function which can get you relatively close which I have referred to a couple times in different videos
Damn Logan , your a smart dude! Know how to do all these crazy fitment. Love it!!
Ahah aye thank you! Gotta work with what I’ve got🤣
never saw that done with the balljoints before...great content
Yessir! If someone doesn’t have spindles but has front uppers, easy way to gain a couple extra degrees. Thank you!
I did this on my accord. Uca’s maxed out at -5 ish and I managed to get -8 by flipping the ball joints
Hell ya!
Yooo my eyes lit up like I won lotto when I saw that!!!

Yes if the upper sits or hits on the top of the strut tower you need shortened soindles

@@OCTANEANDZIPTIES tysm for the help
What I’m here for! Ofc
Can you do this to truhart ucas as well?!!!!
Should be able to, if the balljoint unbolts they should work🙏
@@OCTANEANDZIPTIES would you say cutting the control arms shorter and welding them back together is an option instead of cutting the knuckles???
😎
after flipping the ball joint would i need another alignment??
super late comment haha but please let me know!!
Yes you would
