An absolute gold mine for aspiring blues players, this. Coming from a different stylistic universe I've watched at LEAST 20 times and I'm still finding heady chunks of gold from the soil.

Bravo! Your mix of comedy + fun riffs - I really like the chromatic or step-wise motion vibe.... oh yeah, baby!!! You've got a new subscriber for all of this fun and learning. Cheers/Prost from Seattle!! 🍻🎹🐵

Christian, this video is perhaps, I think, one of your best ever! There is so much useful info in this video, it's just packed full of helpful, and really pro sounding licks and tricky techniques which you explain so wonderfully well. I'd recommend your channel to anyone starting out on blues piano. The slow mo is great and your playing beautifully clear and easy to follow. Thankyou!

Nice touch with the keyboard overlay; sure helps at times with seeing certain fingerings.

I come here to learn technique... but I end up sitting and listening to the music over and over and loving every note. Christian you might put together a CD length music file and sell it or offer it as an incentive for something, I don't care what I would spend my last dollar to buy it.

Hi Christian from Berlin, in minute 4:11 you tell us about a7 is the dominant 7 of d7 and so on. I don't understand that. Please could you explain?
