    How does this get any thumbs down...?

      Because 1-2 out hundred are plain destructive or too dumb. Like " Never liked Germans!" or "wanted something in E, dammit!". Its really that simple. Even Oscar Peterson has dislikes. People...

    Cool runups! My question is - how to define which note sequences (running up or down) sound "bluesy" and which not? Can you share any rules or patterns?

    This is a fabulous lesson Christian. Thank you very much. Every tip you give is very well explained and can be easily used. What you said at 13.12mins about an English word; did you mean GIVE ME FIVE ? I think you did. It means congratulating someone.

    Hi Christian I commented last week on your homage to fats domino could you explain how you managed to get the amazing background/side affects of the music playing in the background.thank you

    • @ChristianFuchsBlues
      @ChristianFuchsBlues  7 лет назад

      Hey Joe, what background noises do you mean? On this video. Well there are two thing: the software piano and the voice mic, which also picks up my keyboard noise and the room athmo.

      Hi it must be the software,i have a modest yamaha p45 which has very few features,but the piano sound is good for its value,the instrument that you played the homage on has really caught my interest especially at 2-12 where a riff is played and it is repeated automatically up an octave,

    • @ChristianFuchsBlues

      That sound is the Pianoteq Piano, running on my Mac. It´s really good. And what you heard is the Steinway.

    Good stuff. But it is a lot easier for beginners to play run-ups in single notes rather than in octaves. It doesn't sound as powerful, but still sounds good.
