I had never heard of these before until I was on a walk a few weeks ago! It was right next to someone’s driveway and I felt like I was stealing lol. I found a book I really liked and gave a few that I had already read. Now I’m on the hunt for more around my town!

I spied The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down in the second library. Super interesting non-fiction about the Hmong people living in California and the issues for them getting good health care due to differences in culture with the rest of the area where they live. It is structured around the story of a family that had a child with epilepsy. Sad story, but really interesting.

@@graceannreads just got back. I had a great time. It was at a park with a really playground. I found three free little libraries.
Left 6 books, Took 6 books, found some really nice paperbacks. I will have to try to find some more soon!

I’m in northern Virginia! A lot of our free little libraries are on very busy walking paths so I think more people know about them and stock them
I recently downloaded the app and i cant believe how many i found near me, about a 15 mile radius! You got some good finds! My question is do i keep the books foe a certain time then return or can i keep them for a while? I'm just trying to figure out how it works.
You don’t have to give them back! It’s on a give and take system. Typically if you take a book you put a book in the little library. I have so many books on my shelves I found in little libraries!

Очень не воспитанно, так себя вести. Эти бесплатные библиотеке для цели, взял книгу, оставил взамен. Либо сколько взял,столько же оставил. А не просто ездить и искать, забирая. Ничего не оставляя взамен. Это освратительно.
