at 4:24 for Data Pad 12 on Nightfall, after the bravo check point, you can just run up to a rock thats right below you at this point. if you walk up far enough to that bridge rock that you said connects to the 2 cliffs, just go to the left and you will see a big boulder leading up the left side of the bridge rock, and where a branch sticks out of the cliff. you can just do sprint jump off the rock and over the branch, and then crouch just before you land on the slant of the bridge rock. then just continue on from there to get the data pad after the last jump on the right. quicker then doing all the jumps before it. idk if theres a ton more to improvise on but i just went for somewhat first 5 to get, that was somewhat easy, i skipped the second data pad on ONI sword base which is literally the second datapad being datapad 2 lol. i guess a quick tip on the first one for the legendary cloaked elite, i tried to get as close as possible to your movements to get there ASAP and have enough time to hit the elite, and used pistol to take off his shield making sure i hit every shot, HOWEVER, you get a checkpoint here so you can replay back to that checkpoint, BUT, if you go to far then you hit another checkpoint ruining it since hes too far away at that point. after getting his shield down i just burst assault rifle while chasing him, finally i heard and saw a glimpse of him fall by the 2 moa, went to check and sure enough he was down.
I spent a hour on the first elite I found that if you get out of the falcon and pause and load last checkpoint you can run forward and try to kill the elite and if you don’t go to far down the hill you can keep reloading and skiping the 40 seconds falcon ride every time you restart
That first elite is impossible, I stunned it twice at the beginning and took out its shields before the first mag was empty and before it was half way and shot it with an entire mag and it didn’t die. It makes 0 sense they’re supposed to die with a mag headshot after you take down their shields. Edit: I got the second checkpoint before he turns the corner and just kept reloading the checkpoint and switching my gun to the auto rifle and gunned him down until I got him.
First one is a lot easier with acrophobia on. Spent ages trying but used that and means you get to him before him before he’s even left the building. Makes an easier kill if you want that
Use your entire pistol mag while running at him, and then pull out your assault rifle to finish the deal. The assault rifle will bring him down quickly once you take down the shields.

Really easy strategy that's pretty consistent for the invisible elite pad - try to get him no shields as early as possible, then just single fire or small burst him once he is one shot using the AR.. for whatever reason the pistol seems really hard to hit a headshot w regarding the elite. Try to get him when he's right in front of the gate and not running away

F*** that first data pad with the stealth elite! I had to constantly restart checkpoints and the dreaded restart the mission (that non-skip able intro blows). As plenty of others have stated in the comments, the ONLY reason I finally got him was cause he got stuck on a rock.
Lol on pad 12/19 he literally goes in a huge circle just to fly up to left side of where he started. You do have to start from Bravo tho, Charlie won't work.
The guide for the first datapad isn't very good. Instead of trying to kill the elite before it goes round the bend just focus on wiping out it's shield and then continue to run after it around the corner. If your fast enough you should have enough time to assault rifle it in the back before it despawns. You will have to reset the mission every time you fail but tbh you're going to be doing that anyway no matter the method.
Thank you for this tip! Tried 10x before seeing this comment. Caught up to him and was in close enough range to accurately use my pistol before mowing him down with the AR.
**Hey pro tip for first data pad** turn on the non scoring skulls: bandanna, and acrophobia!!! You can still get achievements and it worked for me after the second try!

10:25 how in the actual fuck do they expect anyone to find this naturally?
U can use the acrophobia skull to get all of them makes it a thousand times easier but that's if ur playing on mcc
I know I'm late but thank you so much!! I was pulling my hair out trying to kill that 1st elite and that skull helped me get it on the 1st try finally 😭
Ty for your time. Now have all data pad. GG
F*** that first data pad with the stealth elite! I had to constantly restart checkpoints and the dreaded restart the mission (that non-skip able intro blows). As plenty of others have stated in the comments, the ONLY reason I finally got him was cause he got stuck on a rock.
Thanks alot for this video. Helped me out alot!! You got a new sub!
I Concussion Rifled it across on that Nightfall one Lol Thank you for the video!
Great vid - would love it to be chapter'd though rather than going through the description for each of them.
bruh you're a lifesaver thank you
Very helpful just became a part of the 0.26% who got all the "P.D.A's"
Thank you so much, wonderful job and clear montage
you can do these with skulls on, so I got the first one with acrophobia/bandana and it was trivial
That helped alot thanks
Going through this game for the first time on Heroic decided to pick up the ones I dont need to be on legendary for🤷♂️
Lol on pad 12/19 he literally goes in a huge circle just to fly up to left side of where he started. You do have to start from Bravo tho, Charlie won't work.
Not that it's a major issue, but for Data Pad 7, the video actually says "Data Pad 17".
As ever your guides are exemplary
this was awesome! thanks!!
He makes it look so easy but its solid
Super helpful, thanks!
Cheers for your hard work mate
Got them all thanks!
Thank you awesome video! Very helpful
Thank you so much. Dude your awesome
To get the first data pad easily, quickly take a path along the right cliff to delay the elites running.
Worst advice ever. By the time you have ran down that path he’s almost out of sight around the corner
Thanks so much, after like 20 attempts saw this comment and got it first try
Thanks, that’s actually helped a lot. Managed to get it in 5 tries
Thank you for this tip! Tried 10x before seeing this comment. Caught up to him and was in close enough range to accurately use my pistol before mowing him down with the AR.
Thank you, my good man.
Btw, you can use the acrophobia skull to make life easier
**Hey pro tip for first data pad** turn on the non scoring skulls: bandanna, and acrophobia!!! You can still get achievements and it worked for me after the second try!
thank u Maka 🙏🏼
Thanks
Thanks for the help!
Great guide, thanks
Now you can use the Acrophobia skull to get these. Just tried it myself.
I want to say thank you for making the tablets but there's a little problem in the mission long night of solace were you supposed to jump to the pillar to get the tablet on top on legendary I didn't have to crouch jump on It I'm just letting you know
I need some help. I'm playing halo reach on MCC on my PC. Whenever I read the datapads I can't scroll between pages. It says 'press pgdn or pgup to scroll' but when I do that nothing happends? Does anybody know wtf is up lol?
