Sometimes you are lucky, and sometimes not...there are many wonderful coasters that I never got to ride at all and some that I managed to ride that are sadly long gone. You always need a bit of luck!
I think this is the first time I noticed the half-pipe covers on the top bits that block your view of outside the park. Very sneaky thing to do, make the park seem more enclosed.
These are total gems. Do you think you could upload it without the music? I’m trying to recreate audio from the area, and you may have some HQ audio references hidden under the music.
The original footage is no longer on my computer- I have a front seat POV of this ride with original audio which will be uploaded at some point, which might assist you.
@@davidjellis ah, that’ll do! There’s a weird anomaly that existed in the audio from 2001-2003 when you’re just about to stop at the station, and I was curious if you somehow caught it :)
Cool footage David. It was great to actually see you on the coaster and doing commentary. Its a pretty long ride~

It's a surprisingly long coaster really - was fun to re-edit this old footage...and yes, a rare appearance of me in the video!
I really miss this old ride. 😢
you're lucky as hell for being able to ride this without trims on lol

David how big was that orange peach thing by California Screamin' in person??
Big enough to enclose a full-size wave-swinger - no idea of the dimensions
@@davidjellis Okay
If you're wondering what the peach thing is , it's not a peach it's actually an orange peel and inside is a swing decorated with bees
That's what I know from videos :0
@@Unknown_10336 Well I remember seeing swings inside it but forgot it was called the Orange stinger. (I don't know what made me call it a peach lol).
