I bought this laptop in Jan 2022 and its the best purchase i have ever made when it comes to tech. For anyone wondering about charge times this laptop charges in About 2hrs with the charger that comes in the box. I use it daily. Also if you are not video editing i can assure that you can get about 13-14hrs of battery life because thats what am getting with my usage. My usage is safari with 3-4 tabs, chrome with 4-5 tabs, pycharm, visual studio, imessage, whatsapp, mail. I have been using this laptop for mainly learning and content consumption. On macos 14.4.1 the software is stable as it can get. Overnight battery drain is just 1 percent which surprises me even to this day. And the battery health is still at 96 percent after 2 years of usage. Also i have a base model btw and i never faced ram issues, the swap usage is about 200-400mb at most. For anyone wanting a good laptop with great battery life, screen, keyboard, trackpad, build quality and lastly decently good speakers and you have no problem with macos this machine is the one to get between 60-70k. I will probably use this one for 4 more years and then upgrade to a macbook pro with promotion.

I bought this mac from flipkart for around 54k by exchanging my 2017 pentium processor hp laptop for 9k with exchange bonus. Man this laptop is a beast for that price range. You can get this around 64k without exchange from flipkart, it's still worthy for that price range too.

Using it still today, an absolute BEAST. The screen and battery are the highlighting hardware features for me. And software wise, I love using Alfred for Mac.

But like only thing dats making me hesitant is how long does it take to charge I've heard it takes 3+hours from 1-100% is that true ? And how gd is the display compared to nowadays OLED displays avaialabe in the best and even cheap laptops ?
@@LIPUN_GAMERZ Sequoia is still in beta, so, no. And Mac is a productivity focused device. It isn't for gaming.
@@ronathsomaratne2317 No, it doesn't take that long. I use the 30w charger that came in the box, although, M1 Air also supports 65w charging. On my 30w charger, I keep the charge between 20% and 80%, and it takes almost 1 hour for that.
The display is very good, LCD is power efficient and still produces great colors, and the 1440p resolution is more than enough for reading text etc. It covers the whole DCP3 color gamut so color reproduction is amazing and accurate. OLEDs definitely have the advantage when it comes to deeper blacks, for example, in movie scenes that are relatively dark. Also, their colors pop a bit more. I have heard good things about Asus Zenbook 14 OLED, but can't say about other cheaper displays.
In short, both will have excellent displays and it should not be the deciding factor between 2 laptops.

Hey, very good Video! I ws just wondering how long will apple support this Macbook (software wise), and more importantly it maybe be good now but will it be able to hold up even after 3-4 years down the line cuz this isn't something we upgrade frequently.
You can expect support for at least 2 more years

You can only 2 to 3 years of macOS not recommended, just think about security stand point and ram upgrade will cost you around 15k to 20k

Definitely bro, I’m user of M1MBA-16Gb and I bought it just after the launch of M1 mac’s and iPads but I just got Mac 💻 & I don’t regret a bet it is a beast of it kind when I using windows and also one small issue is few you use it for causal laptop usage it does it in the best way but just look out for software’s support it was a bet dicey when it launched but now it is really a best machine

no from 10 to 100 it can take around 2 hours only
Dislpay is top notch for this price
Oled is just a gimmick you dont feel a bid difference I think this is one of the best displays still

I bought the M1 Air this year at a very good price from amazon. This machine is awesome. I use it as my daily driver for browsing, documentation, excel sheets and image editing. The mac holds pretty well even when multi-tasking having multiple browser tabs opened. For most users 8GB RAM is sufficient although 16GB would be an icing on the cake.
16GB is required to make it future proof

Unlike some companies giving Software update which gives issues to the phones Apple is built different , you can definitely trust them THey give value to the custmer , I have updated to the latest os and their no bug and safety issues

Mainly I am looking for a good media consumption device which I am planning to use in between my working hours and also for casual study purposes as well. Pencil is not so much required. I don't have an iPhone right now. Kindly suggest me. Mainly I try to avoid macbook because I am not quite sure how much I'll be interested to open another laptop in between my work loads 😅 ha ha

The ram is not upgradable, heck even the ssd is not user replaceable. The repair costs are extreme, you need another 3000-4000 usb-c dongle.
