Not sure why I decided to randomly walk around the house while filming the closing section 😝, but hey, we're still learning! Let us know what your best vehicle shipping tips are!

Damn… my car is tuned, and I have a modified exhaust which is illegal in California thought I’d be okay overseas😂. Aftermarket headers, front pipe and tune

Did you have to make any modifications to the vehicle to comply with European regulations or is all that waived for servicemembers under the SOFA? Also what options are there for insuring a vehicle? I heard USAA will do it, are there any other US companies that insure American cars over there?

We did not have to make any modifications. I believe most of that is waived for USAREUR members, but know that your vehicle will still have to pass the equivalent of a German car inspection (done on base). As long as you have a stock vehicle in good condition you should be fine, but things like aftermarket exhausts will fail.
I do believe USAA offers German insurance for USAA members but if you're not eligible, you'll need to get German car insurance from a German company. In areas with US military presence, there will be plenty of options available and local offices you can call where people will happily speak english.
