Sir, California and especially So. Cal is the ancestral home for a lot of outdoor sports, I'm prior service AF vet. I use to be a hard core rock climber (Yosemite, Tahquitz, Joshua Tree), mountaineering Sierras and desert peaksI'm also a SCUBA diver, a sky diver😊, a private pilot and a licensed post graduate emergency medicine residence trained PA. Your team can find dudes like me at Surfing competitions, off road events, skiing and cross country sking events, Iron Man and triathlon races and cycling endurance events and even big West Coast vollyball events. You guys might not agree with our politics, but there is some skilled outdoor enthusiasts out here. We never see USAF events other than Thunderbirds. No one knows we have a ground component and ground/air missions.
There’s already a metric fuckload of recruiting events in SoCal. SOCOM Athlete does events all the time in San Clem. Maybe let some of the less focused on areas get some love
