It was never listed lol, you always had to buy the disk just like with mk2011 and Left for dead 2 and I should know I bought all of them when they first got put on backwards compatibility. Same with skate 2 but I bought that for the ps3 instead

It’s really sad to see a huge part of gamer’s lives come to an end. I’m so happy I held onto my 360 and got that massive 200gb hard drive to house as many games before the delisting.

This is why I prefer physical and it doesn't much to me because I can always just them physically especially expansions packs And if it wasn't for these scumbag companies, microsoft could literally add all xbox and three sixty games to their new consoles.
Your forgetting the stuff you wont ever get afterwards. The dlc. The physical discs will always be around but dlc ill be go on forever.
As a personal pick, I'd throw Rez HD in as a recommendation for any Sega Dreamcast fans as it's the only way to experience the original build of this old music based rail shooter without having to get a Dreamcast or PS2. Of course there's the remake on PS4, PS5, Steam, and Occulus but that remake doesn't come with being able to play the game as it was on Dreamcast. The biggest downside to this however is that Rez HD isn't backwards compatible, so hopefully you still have your 360 on standby if considering to purchase this hidden gem of a game.

It’s so messed up, that a lot of hidden gems and games ARE NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE!!!!!
There is meant to be some more added later so hopefully some of them will be added, would be great is space marine was one of them personally

I still have my 360, though I have all the games I want. Though I did buy Oblivion for it because its my favorite and I'll have to buy the DLC
Pretty sad I was 12 years old when the Xbox 360 came out in 2005 I had the Wii during it’s generation my brother had the 360 back in 2007-2008 until it got rrod i still remember seeing the original blades dashboard on his 360 back then he got Halo 3 on launch day back in September 2007 for his 360 around the time I got my Wii not sure how much longer will the PS3 store will still be up before they shut it down too this was one of the best generation of consoles alongside the 6th gen.
It's times like this I'm glad I'm done retro collecting than ignoring them. Now in the next few years my old games are like a hundred per retro game.

DMC HD Collection is definitely BC. I have it installed on my Series X right now.
I played Remember Me when it first came out. It wasn’t very good back then and I doubt it has aged well. But how good a game is, isn’t always factored into how much people will pay for it. Just think before you buy games like this physically. Ninety Nine Nights, too. That game isn’t good.
I went with digital exclusives. Refused to buy anything that has a physical release, because this is it. After this one haul, I'm not buying any more digital games for 360. Have hundreds of games already on digital, so grabbed some that will truly be gone after July. I bought Blade Kitten, Alien Spidy, Yar's Revenge, Girl Fight, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, Ilomilo, DeathSpank, Strider, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Anna, Mighty No. 9, and Final Exam. Not a bad haul for $58ish. I bought a $50 gift card and then redeemed my Microsoft Points for what I could. Still have a dollar left, which there's a couple games I could afford for it, so I'll probably grab 1 more just not sure what one yet. Really wanted Phantom Breakers Battleground but they removed it. So all I have is a Trial. That one stings.
(EDIT: NVM I just realized they have a PS4 version for Phantom Breaker, so that's awesome!)

Imo 360 was the best thing to happen to video games. It's STILL the most fun and inviting console to boot up and play. Best controller, too. I have PS1,2,3 etc. and was playing before then. 360 is the best
It's great these games are being sold at such a hugely discounted price but if the Nintendo eshop closure has taught me anything its that I shouldn't buy a game just because it's cheap especially if it's available on other more modern systems or might get a re-release down the line.
Am I the only one having problems trying to download games for the 360? Been trying for weeks now to pick up some of these last minute games and I keep getting a message saying I don't have a valid payment option. I know the problem is not with me, because I do not have any issues on my Series S console. Is contacted xbox support and they are no help.

Buy gift cards, redeem them on your microsoft account, register your old 360. Make sure regions match.

For a lot of the $5 - $10 games I have been himming and hawwing if I should get, but so many games are like $1-$3 and you cant argue with them being so cheap.

Thought id point out MK trilogy is on GOG (DRM free, owned by CD Projekt Red). Would be on pc though but likely wouldnt require major specs & historically goes on sale for $6.50 (normally 10).
I can't even download anything on the marketplace because all downloads keep getting stuck at 0%, any idea how to fix this??
Really makes me so damn sad. Like yeah the xbox one onward and pc exist, but this was history. Begging your parents for some microsoft credits to buy the new Halo 3 map pack, checking out the store for new games, impulse buying a random game with a cool cover art that ends up sticking in your memory. We had it so good and we didn't know it

Add a gift card to your MS account. Someone told me to try it and it works a lot better but still flawed. Some games take 5 or more tries

Hey man that online store doesn’t work as far as I can see. You can go to the game’s page, but the buy option takes you to an invalid page where you’re not logged in.

ive moved on and rebought most of the stuff i had (physical and digital) 360 games on STEAM
I bout elder scrolls 4 oblivion on xbiox 1 last year, with the shutting down with xbox 360 do I have to buy it again,? there isn't many games i play nowadays the only ones I play now is Skyrim and oblivion and elder scrolls online, on xbox 1, and on ps4, is uncharted series and last of us 1 and 2.

Most of these are not backwards compatible. So you will need an Xbox 360.

If you live in North America, it's definitely still available. Have you tried browsing on the 360 itself? It should be in the On Demand section.

Nope. It's still $4.99. That's really not a bad price for it as is IMO. The next discount date is coming up soon on July 16th! Hopefully a bunch of good stuff gets discounted.

Most of these games go on sale on PC for peanuts, I would only buy exclusives because games running at 360 settings can run on a potato PC. The 360 will be 20 years old next year, great console for that era (apart from the RRoD thing), really the last great console era with 3 platforms all succeeding and providing a lot of diversity in gaming. C'mon Microsoft, where's Gears of War Cogs collection eh?

I'm pumped for E Day, for context I hated Gears 4 so much I never got round to 5. The first 3 games are my highpoint action franchise on the 360, even the offshoot (Judgement) wasn't bad.

Fancy Pants Adventures is still on the US marketplace. I bought it just recently.

Slims and version afterward work fine. Thermal paste replacement and that's it.

My Slim still works, except it goes offline whenever I start a game.
It goes online when it boots up, so I can go to the Marketplace and such… but start a game and I’m suddenly signed out. Go back to the dashboard, wait a minute, and suddenly I’m signed in again.
It’s really weird and haven’t been able to find anyone else with the same issue
there is a TRAP on the store though. Buy this game for $3 what a deal BUT THE DLC ARE FULL PRICE! Obviously the DLC will no longer be available for purchase after the store closes. Then the one other CATCH is we do NOT actually own our digital content and it can be taken away at any time. Normally I would stick with only physical since I would have the security of owning it. All that being said SCREW THE SCALPERS!
Actually if you download games and DLC on the Xbox 360 it is yours. The same can't be said about games on the Xbox One and beyond.
There is no trap about the DLC. Games have frequently gone on sale in the past and the DLC has remained full price. That isn't really new. Even when games were given free with the GWG program, the DLC was still full price.

Everything is still there in the North America marketplace. Sometimes, it's easier looking for the games on Xbox 360. I usually browse in the A-Z sections for the games.
