You are so patient and centered in your energy working with Dave. I'm trying to come back to riding after having not ridden for quite awhile due to health issues. Always cheers me up to see you out riding and caring for your horses. I'm glad you continue to share your journey.
I can really relate to Dave. I have a 7 year old gelding that does the same thing and I’m blessed with a mini mare that does the same. My mini gets over herself much quicker though 😂
Do you have any tips on how to get a wild rescue mare back into work. She needs to get back into work she is jumping the fences and kicking down stable doors.
Unfortunately, without knowing more about the horse I can’t offer any advice. It’s a very open ended question, as wild could mean anything. Is she literally herded from the wild? Why was she a rescue? What has happened to her in her past? Is she rideable or unbroken? Could ask a million questions! All I can suggest is getting a professional to help that is experienced in starting horses 😁
@@eliseblair140 ok thank you I’ve had someone help but they wasted my time. She is not from a wild herd. She was a rescue because her old owners completely neglected her and 2 other pony’s who I rescued as well. She was just left in a feald on a bridle way. She is unbroken I can only just put a head collar on her. Xx
