Thanks for this video Noah. I waited too long on the last pre-booking to get to order, partly because I was deciding between these, the Horenso's and to make sure sizing is correct. Funny thing is that my foot dimensions sound like they are the same as yours. Maybe I missed it in this video but based on the Horenso video, the size you got was the US 8 which is the 26cm? These boots sound great, and evidently popular given they're as rare as hen's teeth at the moment. I'm just a little concerned about quality though, noting at 16:28 in the video, the boot is already showing signs of wear and tear. Is this the first time the boots have been put through the rigours of a workout?
Quality is excellent mate, a little wear and tear on the upper doesn't affect performance at ALL, and they still look the same many weeks later 🤝 Wouldn't worry about it.
For posterity: I assume you're talking about the visible abrasion at the toe. It's unlikely to be an issue beyond the cosmetic. I will explain why. The primary reason boots separate from the soleplate at the toe is because most boots rely on glue. AG pitches are especially hard on glue because it's both more abrasive _and_ gets much warmer than natural grass. Friction, heat, and moisture (from the pitch, from your sweaty sock) is the recipe for glue degradation. There are three ways to improve toebox durability on AG. Adler employs one of these methods, arguably the best method. 1.) Place a suede bumper, raised rubber outsole lip, or rubberized anti-friction coating at the rim of the toe. Turf boots commonly employ the bumper or raised upper lip, less common is the anti-friction coating, but for example Mizuno has employed it on their Monarcida silo in the past. 2.) Riveting the soleplate to the upper at the points most likely to separate, i.e. under the toe and possibly the forefoot instep. Mizuno does this on nearly all of their boots, Asics does it on most of theirs. These rivets will prevent the soleplate from ever becoming completely detached, but some separation will still generally occur as the glue used along with the rivets degrades. It just won't actually ruin the boot. 3.) *Fully stitching the upper to the soleplate, not relying on glue.* This is what Adler does. The only way the upper is separating from the soleplate on a pair of Adlers is if the stitching itself breaks (barring material defect, this is unlikely to occur without many years of hard wear) or if the leather itself tears. Alder uses high quality leather, so it's unlikely to thin, fray, and tear without using a literal sander on the boot. Stitching the soleplate to the upper is more expensive than relying on glue or glue + rivets, both in material costs and labor. This is partly why it isn't employed by the major boot brands. The other reason is that the big brands WANT your boots to wear out after a season or two, so you'll buy more boots. Fully stitched footwear using as little glue as possible is generally made to last years, possibly decades -- it doesn't make economic sense for capitalists placing profit margins and sustained growth over other concerns. Alder, however, is a weirdo company that places pride in their product over profit margins.

They're very different mate, so it depends what upper material you're keen for.
@@NoahCavanaugh i need a synthetic one and yamatokyo and tekela both have that don't they??
@@jayshah5750I would get the tekelas. I have alll three the yata, yamatoyko and tekelas. Tekelas is more “ACC” because of their innovated soleplate, its versatile. You have blade and conical studs def more bite than adlers stud configuration. Both have plenty of snapback but you love the tekelas
Are you ever going to revisit the mizuno alpha?
Probably not until the next generation comes out
@@NoahCavanaugh Boy that will probably take a year or more. But oh well.
bro, Which one do you prefer horenso or yatagarasu??
He prefers yata
Yata!
@@NoahCavanaugh Can I ask why you prefer yata??
Ah man, please ask them to get larger sizes. Would kill for a US size 12. Have been watching Adler a couple years now hoping that they’ll increase their run.
They should be releasing new sizes soon!
Where can I get the shorts you’re wearing?
Unfortunately not available anymore mate!
Do they ship in italy?
I would hope so!
@@NoahCavanaugh due to the fact that the leather is so thin, do they hurt when you shot realy hard?
Is it the same size as copa mundial?
Roughly!
this is good for speed ??
Only if you're fast! Boots don't make you faster
nice
🫶
did you go 1 size down ?
yes
where to buy? and how much do they cost?
just search adler football boots and they are like 150 if i remember correctly
@@yowadup1000 yeah i just want to make sure it’s the right website
Adler Japan on google
@@NoahCavanaugh what does pre booking yatagarashu mean on there website?
Can you do a play test in the T90!!!!
😂 No chance!
What is the price for a pair?
Look at the website!!!!!
Has Diadora really done away with K-leather?
No
When will Adler produce shoes again?
Soon! More stock being produced for 2024
Thank you
I'm trying to follow along. I really want this model. If it's available, please tell me.
Are these for ag or fg?
Either. Watch the first part of the video...! 😂
im also a size 9US... if you ever need to get rid of cleats lmk🤣🤣 half jokes aside, loving the reviews, trying to choose between waiting for these on pre order, getting the tiempo 9 elites (possibly the made in italy although a bit out of my price range) or going for the asics ds light x-fly pro limited. Hard choice, really hope I choose correctly especially at this price range!
Definitely mate! All depends what you’re looking for 🤝
@@NoahCavanaugh ended up going with the tiempo elite 9s, as it's easiest to get them in the US out of the three. Super excited!!
