- G'day Van fam.
This week we start our journey West along the South West Coast of WA. We randomly pick the small town of Hopetoun to stay at and end up exploring the near by Fitzgerald River National Park on our explore day. We are completely blown away with what we found and had some of the best experiences of our time in WA.

Hopetoun is pronounced Hope Town, have been a resident of the Ravensthorpe Shire for 34 years 👋 We are so proud of our Fitzgerald River National Park, world heritage listed 👌🙌🫶

Oh sorry I definitely wasn’t correcting you to be smart it’s just one of those towns where it has different pronunciations for different locations with the same name so just for other travellers 😅

Thanks for the tip, but we're a bit further West now. We did climb Bluff Noll but, boy that was a challenge.

@@johnrichardson5496 Hey John. It's called an Aurora shade. I believe ours is the medium size. We love it because of its benefits in size and weight in comparison to say a gazebo.

Hopetoun is a great place , so many low cost camping available 30-50 km to the west ( to late now 😁) Masons bay , our favourite , Starvation bay , Munglinup , all beach front camping . South WA is the best .
We are loving it, it's very pretty. We have been pleasantly surprised.

They are called aurora shades.
You are close. Hopetoun is pronounced Hopeton. A place in Scotland near Edinburgh.
