I didn't know if I was going to cry or throw up by the end of this video, $105K (actually around $125k after bidder fee and taxes) was a LOT of money to me. I had a great experience with #russoandsteele auction company and #reliabletransportation and #velocitymotorcars for facilitating the transaction and delivery. Shout out to my buddy Curt for walking me thru this process... his experience of the auction process was invaluable.

Beautiful car and I love your XKRS you have! For whatever reason the Jaguar XKRS coupe hard too is my dream car and almost had a 2010 bought with only 41,000 miles in Dallas, Tx but was a day late and it sold and couldn’t find another one so I settled for a 2016 Ford Mustang GT premium manual in a rare guard metallic color but still would love to have a time piece classic XKRS someday. Congratulations on the rare GT version it’s a beautiful piece of machinery.
Great story. It brings to mind Tom Cruise's speech in Jerry Maguire, the "You complete me" speech. This really is a cruel world, rarely do dreams come true. Hell, I almost cried for you.

I thought these would have investment possibilities but then I saw a couple of them languishing in the 100,000 dollar range (used). I hope you're rewarded for believing in this beautiful and rare cat. I had to have the '12 FRB coupe. Dropped in a tune and pulley and Toyo r888r's all the way around, completely different car now. 0-60 3.5-3.6 and consistent 11.9's.
lol Right! I have the "screw it ill just drive it" attitude. it had 1406 miles on it after 5 years when I bought it... it now has 3900 miles 1 year later. Im not in the business to make money on car investments... I buy them to drive. I see a Project 7 & 8 in my future... how cool a garage would that be! thanks for commenting Mark!
You're gonna do good that car ,with that small of numbers made , I'd drive it here and there of a couple of years till it got to 5000 m then you could sell it for 150 to 175 plus got put 4000 miles in it

lol! i did. This is the video where I actually bought it at auction. my only issue is I cant stay out of it so Im stacking the miles up. It really is THAT much better than our XKR-S.

It’s probably slower than an f-type SVR but much more interesting. The rarity, the fact that it’s the last of its kind (true descendant of the e-type 2+2)
I agree because it does not hook up as well. the P8 is quicker than both but the GT is my favorite.
Nice one future classic! I have the Xkrs French racing Blue it only had 2560 miles when I bought it in 2016 I love it !
Honestly... I think that blue is my favorite color also... I couldnt part with my black XKR-S... but I wouldnt mind adding a blue one to the stable! The 25 USA GT cars only came in white... I think the UK got the 10 colored ones (red, yellow and black) Red is actually really cool. Sam reviewed one on #seenthroughglass YT channel a while back.

I have a 2012 XKR-S In French Racing Blue ,I have changed the Exhaust and a Re- Map plus Supercharger Pully ,the Dyno run shows 620BHP at the Crank ,she is a dream car ,I will never Part with Her that is for sure , My everyday car is the XFR-S which I equally love where I have done the same conversion by Viezu here in the UK. The GT was just a little out of my of my reach ,I am sure you will get bucket loads of pleasure from the GT ,I hope your Wife has now forgiven you !!!!
Lol! Congrats! I am knocking around picking up another XKR-S and blue would be the color! I cant imagine more hp with that crazy over steer I experienced on the stock car.
My master plan in the next couple of years is to find a matching Project7 and Project8... if the wife says its ok.

very cool... I had a 2012... actually thought it was a little more exciting to drive than the GT... had an element of unpredictability !

no thank you... just sold the Etype, going to stay with the newer stuff. Im not mechanically inclined enough to drive and work on the older stuff.

You stole it I think. One of the best cars… it will be worth way more in years to come. I sold my 13 in 2018 with 16km on the clock and it’s worth 15k more today in Canada … I thought you would have to pay 150k plus … u stole it
