  • We invite you to join us this morning as we continue in our sermon series, "The All-Sufficient Grace of God: Ministering in our Weakness." Throughout this series, we have been working through Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians. In this, Paul's most personal letter, we see him defend his ministry against the Corinthians who see him as too "weak" and his sufferings as too great for God to be at work in him. And yet, Paul will show that it is through his weakness that Christ's power is displayed.
In this week's sermon, Pastor Jason Clubine will share from 2 Corinthians 11:16-33. In this week's text, Paul continues to reveal the false motives of the false apostles who have infiltrated the church in Corinth. By utilizing the same boasts as the false teachers, Paul shows that these teachers are still not his equals even on a human level. And yet, such boasting is ultimately foolish, because it draws attention to ourselves and not on God. Instead, in his ministry Paul chooses to boast in his weaknesses for it is in his weakness, that others can witness the power of God.
