Love Mississippi John Hurt... Very good person...
My guitar hero, along with R L Burnside make me pick up my guitar daily and be thankful we have music in our lives
No School like The Old School! This song made me pick up the guitar 34 years ago. 🙂 Never have gotten it this smooth!
It s like with beer. Forget about the mixed stuff.
Like it a lot!
Very great man and great musician!😍🤩😍🤩🎵🎸🎤🎶⚘️🎶⚘️🎵
In 1977 I visited John Jackson in Fairfaix, Virginia. He talked
about the musicians he met
after his discovery. The nicest
people he met were John Hurt,
Fred McDowell, Libba Cotten
and Mance Lipscomb. As for
Mr. Jackson , he told me : " I
am uneducated and maybe
foolish but my philosophy is
simple: I love everybody" Amen.
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing.
Yup. The start of it all.
Thank you. Good man.
Always wondered where Jerry Garcia's version came from but always forgot to check. This is where it came from. Good stuff!
