- President Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland outlined the administration’s gun crime prevention strategy on June 23. During the speech, Biden argued that there has always been a 2nd amendment limit on what firearms can be purchased, and "if you wanted to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.'

Of course he did. Just like how he “forgot” how before he was “elected” when he was talking about Trump using executive orders, saying “a president that rules through executive orders is a tyrant”. Then to (only a few months later) have DOUBLE the amount of executive orders within his first month than any president in history had in their first month. Just like him “forgetting” that he promised to cure cancer if he was elected. So far the only thing he seems to remember is how BADLY he wants to take guns away from people who haven’t broken any laws with them. The next American Revolutionary War is coming. He’s pushing us towards it purposely. I’m not even a gun owner, but I’ll fight right next to everyone to preserve 2A. Without 2A, we’ll have no way of protecting the rest of the bill of rights. Scary days are ahead.

Well… I was in Afghanistan… they didn’t have tanks, nukes OR jets… but they took us on pretty well. For about 20 or so years… and the Vietnamese… sheesh the natives won a fair amount of battles with old rifles and bows and arrows… point being, if you’re fighting for your home and defending your family, the weapons don’t really define the outcome.

I’m former military and I can tell you the U.S. military will never turn on American citizens. I talk to soldier all the time outside of the largest military base in American everyone I’ve ask if they would fight against American citizens over the 2nd Amendment said no. I’ve ask State Troopers and local Police and so far everyone said no. So good luck trying to disarm Americans.

I think he’s missing the point. If there comes a day where the people call for and conduct a revolution, entire swaths of our own military would join the rebellion. It’s not just citizens (well regulated militia) that won the revolutionary war. There was a lot colonial existing standing soldiers that turned revolutionary. Soldiers follow generals and generals do what’s right. Even Washington once wore a red coat before he donned the blue one.

At the time the constitution was written, our Navy was made up mostly by private citizens with ships laden with cannons. What modern standards would classify as a "Destroyer". So....by definition, we should be allowed to own warships.
We are. All "gun control" laws are unconstitutional--if SCOTUS would ever actually apply the Constitution to one of the 2A cases by refusing to hear then or making narrow rulings to avoid addressing the broader constitutional question at the heart of every one of them.

Looks like America already failed those who attempted to give us legs to stand on in the event of tyranny and standing armies that could be more powerful than us as the people.
