THE $39.9M NEW JERSEY MANSION UP FOR SALE | Secret Lives of the Super Rich - Развлечения
He would have been better off finding a new wife.....
p.s. she might be the one with the money..
cheaper to keep her
That sounded more like a marketing statement to make it seem it was an unfortunate scenario of them having to go else where
Oh please, save your pity. The man is a billionaire and no one wants the house because of the high property taxes. Furthermore, men like him like women with expensive taste. He doesn't want a new wife. Birds of a feather flock together.
@@jeoboden That's what Caroline Manzo said about Kim G.
What a waste of money. As soon as he built it, his wife said she'd rather live in Florida. Lol.
Tyran Mathurin and she doesn’t even...
@@kbflorida888
Even if I were a billionaire, I wouldn't spend that much money on just a single home. I've seen homes costing $250 million or more. I'd rather purchase a luxury home for $1-5 million in every state, instead of spending that much on a single house.
What if she's making him pay for something he did
@@TheTmat007 That's why you are not a billionaire
@@berje4775
Then it would mean she's both selfish and vindictive.
8 years empty in NJ geeee let me guess why? PROPERTY TAXES ARE INSANE IN NJ. Even rich people won’t through their money away in NJ.
Bigred911s 911GTS throw
Bigred911s 911GTS NJ taxes are just killer
Lmao word 🤣😭
liberal goverment.
Alpine doesn’t have a school so taxes are much much lower !
The house took months, maybe even a year to build. It’s finally finished, the wife looks at it and goes “Meh, I think I’d rather live in Florida” OK honey, we’ll just try to sell This for the next 10 years instead
Sort of the same thing that happened in suburban Dallas with a massive house called
Champ D'Or ... there are videos about it ... it sat on the market for quite some time and eventually sold for a ridiculously low amount of money , like 12 million dollars but it cost $50 or more million dollars to build it
I wired it. My company was there for 2 years just doing our part. House is a monster.
If I was that wife, I’d live in that house forever
I thought you were just making a joke and then I heard the narrator 😆
Happy wife, happy life.
The people criticizeing NJ have obviously never been here.
This area in Alpine is over the top not only in spectacular homes but in property sizes.
I live on a lake here about 30 minutes away yet I am minutes from NYC , ski slopes or the ocean
After traveling all over the world i would not live anywhere else.
The culture , food, convenience here is second to none.
Word !!!
What would the annual property taxes be on a place worth $40 million in NJ? Maybe the owners could rent it to the city and move some migrants in there and add some diversity to the neighbourhood 😂😂😂
"He literally poured his heart and soul into it." Someone tell this realtor the meaning of the word literally.
Makes him sound uneducated and uncouth.
Was just using hyperbole
What university did you attend?
Shawn D look up the definition of literally. It can be used in that way as well
nj is cold 🥶
He should have sent the wife to FL and gone to see a divorce lawyer.
He might as well just turn it into a small hotel or resort...
That’s actually a good idea
Chi ching that would be perfect
Nah, it's already sold for 27.5M
@@misaamane2850 Really?
For those that don’t know. A real estate tactic is to call every section of the house a “room”. Living rooms, office, bedroom, play room, they all count to the county property accessor. So no it does not have 42 bedrooms. Just FYI
Yes, it absolutely does have that many rooms. Trust me. And for the record its 19 bedrooms
😀
Its not a "tactic"' people have been counting rooms this way for centuries. And bathrooms, closets are not included in the room count
Well if it has four walls and a door or entrance/exit it is by default a room. 😊
This mansion is a giant fish out of water; if this mansion was located in Greenwich or Bel Air it would sell in a heartbeat.
Hisoka Morou I don’t think that’s necessarily true. I lived in Greenwich from 2004 to 2014 and before moving we tried to sell our 12,000 square foot home for twelve million and no one has bought it yet. I think that the climate of real estate there has changed and people don’t want these crazy houses.
You’ve clearly never been to Alpine.
James Gillies Why would I ever want to go to New Jersey?
@@bensanford1615 2nd best school system in the country, New York City is just next door, the jersey shore, loads of great safe towns to raise a family in, great restaurants, shopping malls, for example the Short Hills Mall one of the best in the country. Many reasons to live in Jersey.
LMFAO literally not at all
when the price hit one million, alart me.
Josephine Omoruyi you still likely won’t be able to afford the property taxes on it. NJ taxes are insane.
That indoor bball court is sick
Any body wanna buy this to quarantine in during covid 19 outbreak?
Andrew Pham the house is really close to bergen county and nyc and those areas have incredibly high case numbers for covid 19
Can i try it out for couple weeks and then I'll get back to you
This house has been on the market for years.
I wonder what the property tax on this property is 😂.
I'm sure that's the reason why they moved to Florida.
Lower that price. $15 million
I think this is the case where the owner paid so much taxes to the state that when he left. The state noticed the missing revenue. Has to be.
@@glorymanheretosleep maybe the owner didn't really think it through, nice house, not practical though
@@herogebrial It would seem so, right? But the thing is that because Finland has a low population, it makes it easier to educate them than USA.
@s n Nope, not with homestead exemption .. jersey is high and you get nothing good in return compared to fl
I feel so broke after watching this, I better get back to work
Pay $500K in taxes yearly
That's why it's not being sold.
The Lion still NJ is not the place for that fabulous property the dude should have bought a mansion in Florida 🤦🏻♀️💀
taxes should be charged on land area, not property value. all this land is nothing but wastage.
Please keep uploading these videos during quarantine
A basketball court inside the house must be everyones childhood dream. ☺️
Ego, arrogance, and delusion built that house, and then dumped it.
An opportunity for you to buy it, if you want?
I feel like I'm watching a series of commercials bought to us by your wealthy friends and I'm here for it.
beautiful home. very classy and modern.
I live in Jersey and I could tell you that the property tax on this property is probably $80,000+,
EverBother 200grand i bet
80 thousand? More like 250-300k. Go on NJ parcels and type in the address of the home and youll see the exact number.
You miss one "zero" behind the number. Property tax rate 2.4% in NJ. let assume the property sold at asking price, meaning at least $800000 in property tax a year. And you only deduct max 10k in your tax return, so it does not economically sounds.
So much love went into this foundation and Beauty! VerySpecial I might add! 😍💃🏻🤗
$40M to live in NJ, lol...and you wonder why his wife wanted no part of it?
Location, location, location...
Where do you think Wall Street and hedge fund tycoons live? NY, NY and CT.
Art A to be fair the wife said she wanted to live in Florida I’m guessing she didn’t want any winters or cold weather and just wanted sun and beach 365 days a year
lmao if you think that way you cant afford to live in Bergen County, not even in a studio.
@@v4vendetta37 Dont blame her at all
New Jersey is the safest state
How do they change the light bulbs on a 30 ft ceiling
Hire like 4 blondes
On a 30ft ladder haha
Do it once with led bulbs.
Hire someone to do it for them....
you dont if your that rich you hire someone
That French Riviera house is amazing
Happy to be born and raised in jerseyyy!
Money is everything.
I live 5 minutes from the house and up until now I didn't know nobody lived there😅
MOTIVATION!
Beautiful
#3 is on another level!!
ready to buy it
Definitely my Favorite!!!
This house reminds me of all the Luxury magazines i used read at Hudson News at PENN STATION in Newark. I'd be coming home from working in EDISON and would go there to wait for my bus.
The CNBC reporter acting surprised is so funny to me! Considering he has already seen this house like 4 times with 4 different price points!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exquisite home that will remain empty due to the Covid 19 situation we are experiencing in the states and around the world.
“Literally poured his heart and soul in to it” literally! Sure about that ?
wat does literally mean?
I wish you could show more of the home.
LOL I can only imagine how much the property taxes are? Why in NJ ?
Bro his wife really waited until after he built the mansion that she wanted to be out
the biggest different between super rich and me is not how much we can afford, but how much it can appreciate after the purchase.
E um sonho!!!
I never understood the appeal for Uber expensive cars. All it takes is one accident and it’s gone
This house is 5 mins away from me... it’s pretty crazy but honestly the house across the street is even better.
I love it
I wouldn’t know what to do with so many rooms. In fact you could probably fit all my belongings and furniture in one room in that house no kidding
When it gets down to $5M let's talk! ❤️🙏
You can’t “pop the clutch” in that Ferrari lmao
Lmao ikr?
Yea u can lol put it in nuetral hold the gas and pop the paddle :)
Beautiful 🏠 house I would love to live in it what's wrong with New Jersey? Its so lovely
Taxes
It hasn’t sold because people spending millions on a home would rather build their own from the ground up.
Wow...
How many times they gonna show this house
Well, its waiting for the right buyer because the market has spoken and its over priced.
Wonder if he could have it moved to Florida , since he loves it so much .
I wanna buy this one
Well I want that house
The problem with pricey custom homes is if you were going to spend that kind of $$, you might want to design your own house instead of inheriting a house you like 50% of then don’t love 50%
the Frick Dr. house will never sell for that price in New Jersey.. if it were on Long Island, price would probably be 50 percent more..
Austin D if not triple.
Im the New Buyer as of 2/26/21. Thank you God🌏🌎🌍🌛🙏☝💪
I love that house
I will love to purchase this home and turn into a family group home
I'll buy it
I live in northern New Jersey and I love it here, but no way I’m spending 40 million dollars to live in a house in New Jersey. I’d much rather spend that money on a house in LA or a penthouse in NY
I'll take it, call me up -you know where to find me!
If I put $2,000 down how much will my payments be?
$9,999,999. Or it will never sell
Update: This is still on the market for 32.9 million now. Still the most expensive home on the market in that area (Correction: Its the most expensive home on the market in all of New Jersey!)
Wrong.
I am the one who loves it
I fell in love with in 2019
Now I’m 16 and I still plan on buying it
I can see Tony Soprano living there ....
Eu vou comprar uma mansão como essa no final do ano!😃
Posso te visitar???😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Seria no final de 2021 ou 2022??😂😂😂😂😂
This house has been on the market for absolutely ever. Originally listed for almost $70 million and now down to 40. It is a beautiful house tho.
32.9 million now
😮😮WOWWWW
I’m just here for the comments 😁
Have to pay me to live in liberal NJ
I went online and found nj property tax calculator. Entered alpine nj and value of $40 million. Estimated annual property tax...... $316,000. Which is $26,333 per month! Only an NFL player whos taken too many hits to his head or an NBA player who is simping hard would take this deal.
Me and my my wife used to get (sneak) a bottle of wine and cruise around there in Alpine, NJ., just to gawk at the houses. It's almost like a modern day Newport, RI..
Well then you would know irs not really in Alpine then huh
I like this one
This house is actually 1 frick dr and was sold 1/21/22 for 27.5 million CASH !!
My whereabouts 05/26/2023 1:02pm Manhattan,NY 32 and 3rd ave NYPL Library
I’d call dibs on this building
Imagine the property taxes on this
Omg i got this house map on minecraft 😮😮😮😮
I’ll pay $1 dollar take it or leave it 😂
😂
I'll pas the walk to the pool from the house is a bit far! LMAO!!!
Nice car.
Currently on the market for 26 million
Is this house still on sale

I hope the appliances didn’t have a 5 years warranty.
I know a guy who built his dream home, then his new wife made him sell it. It was the nicest house I had ever been in. They divorced.
The house looks great lmao
I love the his and hers side
ShE can enjoy a soak in the tub
and HE can enjoy a nice shower
or THEY can enjoy both
Living in nj u know the property tax per yr is astronomical
I'll bid 12
Utilization Is Significant...After 8 Years.... It'll Take Genius Like MeTo Sell It❗
