God bless you, thank you. I grew up in a community that Advent was to prepare for Christmas and Christmas started Dec 24 and lasted until Jan. 6. My parents and neighbours hosted or visited every day of Christmas .
I am with you! Advent precedes Christmas just as Lent precedes Easter! Unfortunately, our world has gotten too impatient. No one wants to wait for anything these days! Very sad.
