I found this channel and subscribed about a month ago. Since I’m not a leafs fan I didn’t know much about Kaskisuo other then he was in their system. I must say he seems pretty cool and I’m impressed with the channel! Good luck in Nashville!
I use only the magic eraser, but I do it after 5-6 skates, so the white never gets as grey as yours got. My last two sets were royal blue based, with a big white accent zone, so i dont clean much of the pad either!
I personally used the magic eraser and (Goo gone, cleaning solution) for my CCM Premier II's and the puck marks barley came out, do you think it has anything to do with the weave or speedskin on the CCM gear? Or do you think I need a different cleaning solution? Thanks.
Bauer's have such a smooth front surface because of doing the digiprint .. so they clean up easy . I don't mind the marks on my Bauer's but it's so easy I've even rubbed them off with my hands before
Kas this has to be one of the best designs a Leaf goalie has had since Potvin. My opinion, but, keep these new and out of the box designs coming for your future gear if possible.
I use Magic Eraser and Fabuloso cleaner to clean the puck marks off my pads but they have Boston College graphics on them so kind of hard to really tell I did anything to them. I do have a set of white Bauer 2S Pro pads that I cleaned up using your method and they came out very clean but have some yellowing. Curious to know how you strap your leg pads (loose, tight, in the middle), what toe tie method you use, if you prefer the boot strap, and your knee pad selection (inside your socks or outside your socks, if you wear socks).
@@aaronbaxter5378 I have not been able to clean up the yellowing but I have an idea. I’m gonna try some hydrogen peroxide and a UV light to see if that will help the yellowing of the core material.
@@cw2lido IC .. please let me know how that goes!! There's a set of 2s pro gloves for a great price.. just super yellowed.. I found a small spot on my s29 pads I'm gonna attempt to remove in the meantime .. I'm wondering if using the same technique as fixing yellowed plastic will work?? And what does the UV light do???
@@cw2lido and not that anyone cares about my setup 🤣🤣.. but I have to keep the strapping loose or the pad doesn't rotate back when I recover, no boot strap, added an aftermarket professor strap from kenesky just to keep the pad in place on my knee and compensate for the loose strapping. I also removed the "CRS" strap completely. Use Bungie ties. And who wears their knee pads outside their socks ???? 😂🤣😂🤣
@@aaronbaxter5378 I have a set of 2X Pro pads skinned as 2S Pro. In my opinion the 2X Vapor strapping is way better than the CRS set up. The only strap I feel that needs to be tight for me is the one that goes over my calf to lock in the pad. The pads rotate fairly well. Sure there are some times they don’t rotate but that happens to everyone now and again. I want to try a professor strap but just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I know the gloves you are talking about and the yellowing has likely stopped a lot of people from pulling the trigger. I’ll let you know how it goes.
That is awesome question are you still going to be using Coveted goalie mask in Nashville

Yes I use the same thing to clean my gear
Love your videos Kas
Can you do how to break in a glove
I like to rinse the magic eraser every once in a while. Helps keep the pads from getting too grey.
Where do I find the all purpose spray in the Mr. clean Magic eraser😂
Yo Man I live in Duluth I loved watching you play. It’s time to clean up the pads so

I don't mind puck marks but I hate the white nylon going all brown and gross .. any tips for that ?
spray and clean and/or bleach will usually help but you have to do it more regular or it will sit in there too long
Nyt kun on selkä leikattu ja sairaslomaa tammikuuhun asti, niin saanpahan tekemistä, ennen kuin höntsälätkä jatkuu. Hyvä pätkä! 👍

Rubbing alcohol works as well
I wouldn't use alcohol on equipment, personally
Suomi perke
Just so you know that Mr. Clean pad is very fine sand paper. If you use it on the leather you will eventually disrupt the integrity of the leather.
Good thing pads havent been made of leather for 20 year.
are you wearing birkenstocks? I thought you were vegan?
Idk if you will respond but I have hyper lite 2 pads and they started to become red from the goal posts and idk how to remove it
